Talk to me about coffee...

Can't stand the vile stuff myself, but my DH is partial and recently announced that he won't have instant any more as it's not good enough Confused

We don't have the money space for a coffee machine but I was thinking of getting a percolator (is that what they're called?) and maybe a coffee subscription.

Can anyone recommend a coffee subscription company? Or suggest something else that a coffee lover might, um, love.

He's a latte man if that makes any difference.

Another vote for the Aeropress. My DH is a coffee snob too and he uses this with no complaints. I did the whole coffee themed gifts for him last year (he is difficult to buy for) and it went down very well. I got the Aeropress, coffee grinder and a selection box of different types of bean from an online place. I also got the Breville Coffee Express machine which is basically a percolator that is super quick and filters into a travel flask/cup thing. It is really small and okay. Got it because it was stupidly cheap in Dunelm Mill. I did him a photo mug as well to really overkill the theme!

If your cafetière coffee gets cold before it's ready, stick a tea cosy over it! I didn't even have a tea cosy until a visiting tea--addict friend bought me one, and eventually the simple/brilliant idea of using it for the cafetière dawned on me. Works a treat!
