I'd really like to buy one of those wooden advent calendars with drawers/doors for my two boys (5 & 2.5) as I think they are old enought to appreciate it. Their grandparents normally get them a chocolate advent calendar so I would like to put something else in the wooden one for them. I was thinking of something that was similar to the Playmobil/ Imaginext ones that have bits you collect over the 24 days. Does anyone have any suggestions? I had thought of a Christmassy jigsaw or lego - is that a bit boring though?
