Christmas Party for 11 year olds

Mix of boys and girls. Am thinking gingerbread houses / christmas biscuit decorating of limited appeal now.

Anyone got any cool ideas?

My DD and friends like musical dares.

Like pass the parcel but you pass around a box. When the music stops, the child opens the box and takes out a dare.

Typical dares include: make the largest fart noise possible, run outside and shout "I'm an idiot", pretend to be the opposite sex, dance like your dad, tell us an embarrassing secret and so on...

When I did it last year (children ranging from 10 to 12) they loved it so much, they got up and played it again in the morning!
