Does anyone know when toysrus do their sale?
Decided ds has to have the train table. It's £125 at the moment but some of the reviews say they bought it half price...

Highfivethatfart · 16/11/2014 15:09

lucy

Joules have an ebay outlet shop. I think there is a link at the beginning of the thread....you may be able to get some underwear there....

mummy2angel · 16/11/2014 15:14

The smyths code is no longer working. If anyone knows of a new one I would be very grateful :-)

FrantasticO · 16/11/2014 15:16

Floellabenjamin · 16/11/2014 15:24

Just got back from tyger. It was busy. Got some kids umbrellas only £3 each- they've got penguins, foxes and polar bears.

TheHoundsBitch · 16/11/2014 15:25

Flaviar spirits, tasting packs are lovely and free delivery £10 off if you use this link (this link gets me credits)
Just in case anyone missed it last time!

iloveholidays · 16/11/2014 15:29

Has anyone bought/got the wooden kitchen from asda? It's £40. Would you recommend it?

AshVegas · 16/11/2014 15:35

Freixenet is reduced to £6.99 a bottle at Tesco (It's usually £9.00 a bottle there) and there's 25% if you buy four bottles of wine.

So 4 bottles of Freixenet just cost me £20.97 -that's just over £5 a bottle. Now to not pull the same stunt as I did with the Baileys, after all it's not a Christmas bargain if you drink it by the end of November is it?

ipswichwitch · 16/11/2014 15:52

ilove 3yo DS got he asda wooden kitchen for his birthday. He loves it and plays with it every day. It's pretty sturdy too - has withstood his 11mo brother hanging off it! I would recommend.

wibbly I missed your post about minecraft tshirts so not sure who/what age you're looking for, but try M&S online. I got 10yo nephew one via click and collect and it looks really good - it's a navy one with creeper anatomy picture on.

iloveholidays · 16/11/2014 15:59

Thanks Ipswich. I've bought DD2 the Anna doll with the sleigh and I'm now wondering whether I should have done. they're getting the wooden shop for Christmas and I'm keen to get rid of our plastic kitchen which is falling apart.... ummm...

andadietcoke · 16/11/2014 16:14

Loads more toys than normal at my local Home Bargains today. A few a Frozen bits but no dolls - advent calendars and a room decorating kit were the things they had loads of. Didn't notice any Furbys but I didn't scour the aisles

LucyTheValiant · 16/11/2014 16:20

Thanks HighFive.

My local poundland had big toblerones and packets of thorntons toffee and boxes of malteasers. I'm going to head back tomorrow to stock up. RL shopping is such a pain, carrying everything! They also had lots of medium round tins of cookies, Santa, Cars, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Disney Princess, and Tinkerbell. I expect the cookies are stingy but the tins are nice, would make a nice stocking filler I think.

Joycey29 · 16/11/2014 16:21

Marking place - thx Reastie Thanks

Callofthewild · 16/11/2014 16:23

Hi does anyone have any suggestions around the £5 mark for a 9 year old boy and a 13 year old boy. Thanks

LucyTheValiant · 16/11/2014 16:23

Oh and for those doing Hampers, the Works had wicker baskets with cellophane and filled with straw-like stuff for £6.

sallyst123 · 16/11/2014 16:31

Marking my place x

DrankSangriaInThePark · 16/11/2014 16:40

Iggy The Thorntons hampers come in really sturdy double strength outer boxes (which then are fantastic for storing stuff, like Christmas baubles, any excuse for a chocolate hamper....) I sent one a few years ago to someone a long way away (MN appeal gift as it happens) and it was fine. So, yes, it's not a hamper as such, just a lovely ginormous box.

Shatteredmamma1 · 16/11/2014 16:50

Thanks clean and pamela for the PJ suggestions. The reindeer ones are lush so I will have to go she look in store!! Xmas Smile and Flowers to reastie too

Shatteredmamma1 · 16/11/2014 16:50

Go and look even!

revealall · 16/11/2014 16:54

Callo I have had this problem for many years.

Best cheap presents have included books ( wreck this journal or Ray Mears went down particularly well) chocolate pizza, usb stick wristbands and things like those metal balls that knock each other in order or pin pictures that you stick your face/ hand in. Can't say how much they are as there are so many sales and offers about.
Have brought the Amazon 66p touch screen gloves which were well received but never used and there were nice sticky notes in 3d fruit shapes that everyone liked.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 16/11/2014 17:02

Poundland (wood green) had a Crapton of Frozen bits today

Money tins, wash mits, magic flannels, hair stuff, bath stuff, nail polish, jewellery, colouring bits, plates, cups, cutlery, lip balms, stick on earrings, hairbrushes, sweets...and more I just can't remember!

I spent £45 in there today

Fourty-five bloody pounds!

Has anyone smelt the perfume they're doing for £8....Beckham for women or something...is it worth £8?

glenthebattleostrich · 16/11/2014 17:04

Does anyone have an elc code? Friends little boy is desperate for the fire and police station but its £100!

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes · 16/11/2014 17:11

Those asking about gift cards at Tescos, I've just checked again on HDUK and it appears tescos have taken iTunes and new looks one off and people are having problems getting discount
