Gah! I jumped too soon & got the Playmobil hotel the other day. I still saved £25 or so (which I promptly spent on extras for it) but am frustrated that I could have saved more.

glentherednosedbattleostrich · 21/11/2014 11:56

I have an elc code. Will pm when I get jome

MooseyMoo · 21/11/2014 12:36

Further information on black Friday - other retailers taking part and list of items that will be part of Amazon Black Friday deals

Telegraph article

Jenni2legs · 21/11/2014 12:44

www.spunky.co.uk/shop/mens/sale-clearance
All sale t-shirts £7.50 or cheaper, and I think these are fair trade or ethical in some way. Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 21/11/2014 12:45

Thanks for that link MooseyMoo I want the James Bond 22 film collection, I know I should of got it when hmv were doing it for £29.99. It's now £49.99 everywhere so will hold out for that.

SockDrawer · 21/11/2014 12:49

PizzaPasta the biggest boxed presents were always the most exciting! Grin

BadRoly · 21/11/2014 12:57

Thanks LiverbirdNo1 it was me asking about Clarins. I'm on the verge of just handing over to dh as I thought in the past we'd got her shower gel/bath stuff but it all seems to be much more face creams and make up Sad

livinginhope87 · 21/11/2014 13:01

If anyone could help me with my last two gifts then I will be forever grateful. I need some well priced yarn for crochet for my mum and a deal on a playstation TV for my DH. Any tips on either would be fab!

livinginhope87 · 21/11/2014 13:02

sorry - meant to add a thank you

SpaghettiMeatballs · 21/11/2014 13:11

Thank you linzer. 10% is fab as it is a £50 order so I was already getting free delivery.

I also got a free RHS diary for spending over £40. It looks like a decent hard back one so I can give it to my nan as part of her gift as she loves RHS stationery.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 21/11/2014 13:14

livinginhope what does your mum like to crochet?

SC17 will give you 10% off at Wool Warehouse.

livinginhope87 · 21/11/2014 13:18

Thank you Spaghettimeatballs - she is doing blankets and toys at the moment. I will have a look at wool warehouse. I have no idea about wool but am hoping to do her a 'dream weekend' hamper for a weekend away I have booked for her and this will include crochet bits.

AFingerofFudge · 21/11/2014 13:35

have just placed an order with Tyrrell Katz - I have shopped with them for years, DC2 has the football design curtains and duvet cover in his room. It's all really good quality - anyway, they have a sale:
fab stuff

LinzerTorte · 21/11/2014 13:37

I got the RHS diary last Christmas, Spaghetti - it's very good quality and makes a nice present (I gave it to my Dad, who's a keen gardener).

dancingwitch · 21/11/2014 13:40

Crabtree & Evelyn 20% off codes - VNV42806 in November & VNV42806 in December. Not sure if it is a one time or generic code

SpaghettiMeatballs · 21/11/2014 13:42

livinginhope Stylecraft Special DK is nice for making toys and blankets. It's an acrylic so it's not a posh yarn but it is soft, non squeaky and very reasonably priced.

It is used for making blankets for some of the MN Woolly Hugs blankets.

BornToFolk · 21/11/2014 13:43

living try Kemps Wool Shop for cheap yarn. They often have very good clearance deals.
Deramores are excellent too, really good range.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 21/11/2014 13:44

That's good to hear linzer I was wondering if I should have chosen the wrapping pack!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 21/11/2014 13:45

The RHS diary with the book people is lovely, I always get that as the freebie for my Mum. The wrap set is shite apparently, though have never had it.

AuntieMaggie, last year I got the Yves Rocher Neroli Secrets d'Essence perfume set as my first item in the basket free. That is lovely if you like subtle orange based perfumes. Quite summery. Bit like the Jo Malone scents in that they are natural fruit/flower based and only one note (am trying, and failing, to sound like I know what I'm on about here Grin) There were 2 bottles in the gift set, I kept one for me (and wore it all summer) and flogged the other on Ebay (the bigger one) because I'd never have got through it all.

I don't know about any of the others though.

Are there any FURBLINGS on sale anywhere cheap other than Argos? My Argos is out of stock

(ceiling update: I now have a hole drilled in my ceiling to release the water down before the ceiling falls, next door is also affected, the men with the spanners have established the leak started above next door, so theirs is worse. Now everything has to dry out, and then dd gets anew bedroom on upstairs insurance.....)

LinzerTorte · 21/11/2014 13:50

I went for the wrapping set with my big Book People order this year, so shall report back (possibly not until next year's thread, as the order has gone to my parents' address in the UK)!

flapmyfunnels · 21/11/2014 13:53

Has anyone got a Smyths code please? I've just seen the Paw Patrol thread......

WhatWouldFlopDo · 21/11/2014 13:55

It could have already been posted, but the free personalised video messages are available on portable north pole again

storminabuttercup · 21/11/2014 13:55

Totally rubbish as I can't remember the brand but I know it was a good one but tesco had coffee makers in with 60 off this morning making them 40 quid. Can't find them online so may be an In store offer. Smile

SockDrawer · 21/11/2014 14:00

I've been given a next code now Flowers.

Drank, I'm glad they're sorting it out (and that your dd gets a lovely new bedroom). They must have had an absolute ocean gushing about up there for it to do so much damage!

ShoopShoop · 21/11/2014 14:07

Delurking to say Flowers for all the codes and tips. I'm pretty much done now apart from the MASSIVE twitch I've just had with the Playmobil hotel on today's Amazon lightening deals Blush

I have 2 Matalan codes going spare. One is £10 off a £50 spend and the other is £15 off a £75 spend. PM me if interested!
