Can anyone please advise about the lego figures I'm seeing on ebay described as "fits lego" or "lego compatible" ? Don't want to buy them if they're rubbish.

Both DS & DD love Lego Ninjago (why is lego so bloody expensive ) I'd like to get a box set (i.e. something for them to build) but I'd like to get a few extra figures too.

Who ever asked about the robotic dog: my dd got a Teksta pup last year. It's quite good but expensive. I got it half price on amazon at 6am one morning. I kept checking for days. It only dropped for about half an hour.
