I did a Tesco online shop last night, £15 off £60 spend and £7.50 from Quidco for new customers. Got an email saying it had tracked and payment is estimated in June 2015! WTF!

Also Hotel Chocolat has tracked but just has a dash by the date? Is that normal? Am itching to cancel.

Marmaladecat1 · 18/11/2014 09:53

Also I need to make a photo book but don't want to pay more than £12-£15
Any ideas?

ExtraVolume · 18/11/2014 10:01

Marmalade, Snapfish have a 11x8 30 page one for £17.84. Use BOOKBUND45

TwigletLola · 18/11/2014 10:08

Not sure if this has been posted already but Disney store online has 24% off toys and costumes for 24 hours, ends at midnight tonight. See link for details: m.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/24-off-toys-costumes-18-11-24-hours-only-using-promotion-code-disney-store-2053753?page=2&mforwarded=true

LittleMissGreen · 18/11/2014 10:20

Joycey29 · 18/11/2014 10:22

Lego Advent Calendars down to 14.97 at John Lewis - cheeps I've seen

yumyumpoppycat · 18/11/2014 10:38

Thanks wildflowers and twiglet re disney store, well my credit card isn't thanking you but still :)! I had nearly bought some bits yesterday with 20% off so pleased I waited. Doesn't work on Frozen toys and other non toy bits I would have wanted annoyingly.

www.quidco.com/disney-store/ 4% cashback

www.disneystore.co.uk/mn/1316006/ worth checking the sale items as this brings some of the toys down to being a bargain.

Cars Mack filled with die cast cars (my son too old now sob) works out around £20

Cinderella doll with wardrobe extra dress and mini figures is around £11 after discount

This sleeping beauty doll set looked great in the disney shop but I resisted as dd wanted a castle and that had sleeping beauty figures already works out about £42 www.disneystore.co.uk/sleeping-beauty-deluxe-doll-set/mp/72839/1000255/

DrankSangriaInThePark · 18/11/2014 10:40

Marmalade, just dashing out so haven't time to check, but look here...

www.albelli.co.uk/promotions

These are the ones we all did last year (some of us may have done several, cough cough)

£15 off your first order, and there is a book for about £15, so effectively you only pay postage. Albelli are absolutely the best quality IMO.

It's a good size too, the ones I did last year were almost A4 sized.

yumyumpoppycat · 18/11/2014 10:43

If anyone sees a good price for zoomer zuppies pls let me know... I am thinking under £30... thx

yumyumpoppycat · 18/11/2014 10:46

Sunshine, not sure how good it is but I think tesco have a magic set in the 2 items for £30 offer

I my goodness nearly time for nursery pick up.

must. do. housework.

hohoho100 · 18/11/2014 11:04

Has anyone seen anywhere on the high street for hot chocolate sticks for a christmas eve hamper? I think I may have seen some in matalan but can't remember and couldn't spot any yesterday when I was real life shopping - I want 3.

hohoho100 · 18/11/2014 11:06

If anyone is looking for Christmas mugs our 99p shop had some lovely ones - all nice thin china ones. Some like father christmas and others with reindeer/stags on. Bargin.

Petal7 · 18/11/2014 11:06

We are having Christmas at home for the first time this year. Yay! I want to make the house and garden look magical. Can anyone recommend any bargainous fairy lights (indoor and out). Thanks in advance!

spub · 18/11/2014 11:13

HoHo,
My local Lidl had 2 packs of chocolate stirrers last week. In a square block. Looked yummy. In with Xmas goodies IIRC Wink

spub · 18/11/2014 11:14

Just realised those might not be quite what u were looking for! Shock

hohoho100 · 18/11/2014 11:18

The sticks you put in with hot milk to make hot chocolate! Thanks

LadybirdsAreFab · 18/11/2014 11:32

Thank you all for the Disney store code but sadly it won't let you use it for the Frozen range.

Will use it for other stuff though.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 18/11/2014 11:32

HoHo Home Bargains also do those chocolate stirrer things, can't remember exact price but it's around 70 or 80p each.

Also in Home Bargains, I picked up a Hello Kitty shoulder buddy for 59p. It's a small figure that has a magnet in, you place a magnet under your clothes then place the figure on and it 'magically' stays. Thought it would make a cute stocking filler.

zipzap · 18/11/2014 11:33

I've just looked at John Lewis to reserve the Lego City advent calendar and it seems to be out of stock online. However, Argos seems to have stock available at £15.99 so I have one of those reserved so I can breathe easy again now - especially as on Amazon they have jumped back up to £20 and about a fiver for postage.

Alternatively they have them for £15 in Toys R Us and if you spend £35 or more then you get a free lego coin bank worth £11 - but they don't have the advent calendars on click or collect or to order so they might be out of stock too - but you might get lucky in some stores...

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 18/11/2014 11:35

hohoho100 home bargains have the hot chocolate sticks. One with a gingerbread man, one with popping candy and another flavour but can't remember that one! Think they were about 70p each.

zipzap · 18/11/2014 11:40

oh and meant to say that whilst looking for the advent calendar, discovered that the Lego Shop has an exclusive Calendar which might be enjoyed by some - £9.99 - basically a set of bricks with the numbers 1 - 31 on, days of the week and months and more bricks to turn it into a big block and a couple of minifigs.

shop.lego.com/en-GB/Brick-Calendar-853195

There's also a Lego Friends version (£10.49):

hohoho100 · 18/11/2014 11:53

Also has anyone seen a bit white toblerone on their travels? Looked for one yesterday but could only see the gold one. Thanks

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 18/11/2014 12:04

pound land had loads of frozen bits again today - hairbrushes, wash mitts, rings, stick on earrings and toiletries Smile

saw on advert outside they were supposed to have magic expanding flannels - there were none in mine, if anyone finds any would they mind posting on to me? Obviously will cover cost/post thank u!! Grin
