I would love the thomas take n play set but the 2 large asda's I have been to do even stock it nevermind at that price :(

Why would they not reduce it online too?!?!

PamelaEwing · 17/11/2014 19:56

Had to smile when I saw these talking plastic cookie jars in the Aldi catalogue. Anyone remember the trouble they caused in last years thread?! Shock

dancingwitch the ikea wonden train sets are great.

AriaBanjo · 17/11/2014 20:15

dancing - I don't think so, but I'll check!!! It's our local grammar and as far as I know they provide Microsoft office, but that's all I know!

duckbilled · 17/11/2014 20:17

Ohhhh I was playing with the cookies jars yesterday! How could they possible cause conflict?! Confused

temporaryusername · 17/11/2014 20:20

Thank you Sangria! We'd have been on a new thread tomorrow if my desperate queries had gone on much longer Xmas Wink.

Website oddity last year - I could get 40% off at Bodyshop in chrome but not in IE Confused. Next day it was back in IE.

rightsaid You get the first box (then need to cancel so as not to be charged full price) and can choose milk, dark, mixed, or fortified. If you go to the tasting club page and click to try for £9.95 you can see what is in each box. I feel like I know that page pretty well...

Notso · 17/11/2014 20:27

Oh goodness yes Pamela

Oh, Thomas set would be great for DS2 why isn't it online Hmm I bet it's not in my local Asdas either, they've been telling me they'll be getting the £10 campervan for weeks and it's never turned up.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 17/11/2014 20:30

Oooooooh, yes, Moo-cow-jar-Gate!

I was there!

duckbilled- a poster was looking for a moo-cow jar Grin and someone got Very Stroppy that the thread was descending into festive chit chat and bonhomie. It was dreadfully fraught till we told nasty woman to fuck off

She popped up for months all over the place whinging about us. She turned out to be a previously-banned-poster with clearly an axe or two to grind (and possibly a previous bad traumatic experience with a cookie jar that had tipped her over the edge)

Grin

Oh dear, I feel there may indeed have been a childhood trauma with cookie jars involved! Wink

MissRainbowBrite · 17/11/2014 20:51

Notso, keep checking Asda online for the campervan. I dropped lucky when I randomly checked the website one day last week and picked it up on click and collect today so they do keep getting stock it must go fast though.

AndHarry · 17/11/2014 20:53

Anyone looking to start off a Lego collection, I just got a set of 1000 various bricks for £26.25 delivered here using code H56P.

Shatteredmamma1 · 17/11/2014 20:54

Hi eco Xmas Smile
May have to try the HC offer!! Looks so good Grin

FernArable · 17/11/2014 20:55

Thomas tale of the brave is £25 on Amazon. Not as good as Asda's £18 but still quite good.

BenjaminBunnysMummy · 17/11/2014 20:55

Not strictly a bargain but may be helpful if anyone needs to send Christmas parcels abroad especially Australia, www.transglobalexpress.co.uk are like a comparison site for parcel couriers, quite often cheaper than going direct.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 17/11/2014 20:57

Ha, THE cookie jars are back! Xmas Grin

Sainsburys had 1/3 off their festive gift sets including starbucks etc.

FrantasticO · 17/11/2014 21:01

PoopPoooDeDooo · 17/11/2014 21:13

cookie jar trip down memory lane. ..those were the good old days Grin

I posted t'other day asking for cheap Advent calendar tips so I could donate them to the food bank. .. if anyone else is looking for similar I managed to get mickey miuse clubhouse ones for 49p at Home bargains today. (They also had one direction and Disney Princess) so I managed to get 20 for £9.80 Smile

I also pocketed a £38 pink & purple Furby! There was none on the shelves but they keep them in the office to be collected on request due to them being high value. so don't be disheartened if there's none on the shelf

revealall · 17/11/2014 21:13

Fran I don't think it shows up until you get your account. I phoned up Very and the nice lady put the code on for me as I missed the box because of the stupid iPad. It doesn't show on my order though.
She did say they couldn't give out codes so you will need to give them one if you do ring.

marne2 · 17/11/2014 21:14

Has anyone seen any bargain twig Christmas tree's, you know, the ones that look like a dead painted tree with lights? Grin looking for a 5 or 6ft but don't want to pay a fortune.
