I'm in search of inspiration. I reckon there's a budget of about £50 before DH starts huffing about us not being able to afford to eat next year (not the case!).

I'm wondering about

  • running gear but I'm pretty well set for that
  • something like the hush bright pink baby alpaca knit jumper if it goes in the sale
  • another new bag??

What are you getting from your DP?

A pair of clarks boots I have been coveting for ages.

financialwizard · 15/11/2014 17:53

A new winter coat that has been languishing in a box in the wardrobe for two weeks waiting for me to wrap it Confused

tomatoplantproject · 15/11/2014 17:58

I think I am getting a season ticket for London zoo (it might be a joint present for dd and I).

And maybe a nice jumper because I had to throw away quite a few after the moths got all of my good ones.

Oh, I forgot - I've asked for one of those Babyliss curl thingies....I really want one but wouldn't buy one myself. Gets a bit excited

CleaninQueen · 15/11/2014 18:21

I've asked for a pandora charm, Michael kors purse, perfume and more mac makeup. Dsd's bought me a Alexander McQueen scarf.

silent night

I'm hoping for an engagement ring. The wedding is a mere 10 months away and still no ring has made an appearance.

pieceoftoast · 15/11/2014 19:57

Jewellery. Just something inexpensive. I've already bought it and will be giving it to him to wrap and give me on the day. I want to avoid the slippers and cactus scenario of two years ago, and the identifiable cake-making apparel of last year (though it's lovely he made the effort!). He doesn't plan well for these things. I'm much more organised and shall be thrilled to receive something I really want Grin

RosesandRugby · 15/11/2014 20:01

Im after a kindle paperwhite.....I have no idea whether I will get one or not.

I tend to say 'I'd love a fluffy dressing gown' and he will buy me a long silky one instead because he prefers the look/feel of a silky one. He doesn't think I may prefer the feel of a fluffy one Wink

A Garmin Vivofit, I originally wanted a Fit Bit but have been swayed.

DamselNotInHerDress · 16/11/2014 00:30

GoingChristmasCrackers, the thing is, I'm a sahm and the money that comes in to our household is joint money!
So I don't deem anything too expensive - if there's £120 for dp to buy me a scarf, there's £120 for me to buy it myself if that makes sense?
It's not that he buys it, it just comes out of family money.

RJnomore · 16/11/2014 00:34

I don't know but I do know he was getting something yesterday...

PuppyMouse · 16/11/2014 00:51

Thanks to birth of DD end of Oct,I got zilch last year for Christmas and not even a card for my birthday (which is 2 days after Christmas) so following DH's promotion this Autumn I have had no qualms about pushing my present luck. I have a gorjuss eternity ring coming this year Wink

Sweetmotherfudger · 16/11/2014 06:42

A massage and a box of ferraro rocher!

Buttercup27 · 16/11/2014 06:50

I'm putting Christmas money from parents with present from dh to get a robot hoover. Can't wait!

SmilesandPilesOfPresents · 16/11/2014 09:32

Lots of Sanctuary products. Most of which were paid for with the points card so I haven't actually spent that much.

May treat myself to some really good earphones yet...will have to see if I've got any spare cash in order to do so.

SmilesandPilesOfPresents · 16/11/2014 09:34

I don't have a dp so I have to buy my own.

Apatite1 · 16/11/2014 19:18

I found out early, this coat:

m.jaeger.co.uk/wool-%C2%BE-length-wrap-coat/590107J.html?start=6&cgid=women-coats&dwvar_590107J_size=10&dwvar_590107J_color=20000

V useful and lovely, I'm pleased Smile

fuzzpig · 17/11/2014 07:34

I know I'm getting lego (which is what I asked for) but no idea what sets.

I am struggling to decide what to get DH this year beyond DVDs!

SkaterGrrrrl · 18/11/2014 14:04

Leather jacket.

((((DH))))

Mousefinkle · 16/12/2014 00:25

Chanel lipstick Xmas Grin most excited about this... I've worn red lipstick almost every day since I was 14, never owned a decent chanel one.
Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume
Bottle of chambord
Yankee candle
Lush bath bomb and body wash
Bar of prestat chocolate
Some new undies
Monty Bojangles truffles
Rebel kitchen chai milk

I'm so so so excited. DH and I are just doing stockings for each other this year, this is mine!
