Toys that are currently 'in' for 5-8 y/o girls?

Anyone know what are currently the in things for 5-8 year old girls? Got a few cousins and friends kids to buy for at this age and they are all at that 'wanting to have the same as X' stage are there any trendy toys?I saw MLP is back and my own little girl loves it but wasn't sure about anything else?
