I never know what to get for teachers. Its such a tricky one as I don't want to add to the pile of Chocolates that they get anyway but what?

What's everyone else giving? If anything?

They always got a card from us with a message written by the kids.

My DDs still do this at secondary school for any teacher they think has helped them out. DD1 always does a card for her art teacher as it was her that encouraged her love of the subject, who brought out the artist in her and sparked her interest - which is rapidly looking like becoming her career...

My friend makes fab themed cupcakes for £1.00 each.. Then I buy festive cupcake boxes from Home Bargains for 59p. They went down brilliantly with preschool staff, nursery staff, and school teachers.

I'm a TA and actually, is be mortified if the class handed over a load of vouchers, especially of the amounts people talk about on here! I'd be very uncomfortable accepting what is essentially money off children/ parents. I actually love receiving chocolate and would much rather that or nothing than someone stressing about affording something for me.

My dc quite often give a homemade tree decoration (a good one not a shit angel made out of loo roll type one!).

Button trees, fimo shapes etc

Have never done teacher presents. Got enough with family and friends.
