I've looked online and have seen harumika design rooms but they look a bit rubbish. £50 max budget ? Any ideas please?

One of those kits to make your own fabric lampshade and lamp? Think they sell on eBay. Or pretty wall stencils?

Voucher for a course making something like adding fabric to lampshade. Some craft shops run 2 hour courses.

A course at your local college - art, design, furniture making, fabric, sewing.

At 13 she does not need a kids' version of design, so I think you are right to reject the harumika.
