I bought her Ferrero Rocher last year and I know they were regifted at Easter.

Any ideas? She has mousey blonde hair and large calves.

Henna hair dye and leg warmers ??

sunflower49 · 12/11/2014 02:13

Some wide-fit socks and dry shampoo.

SavoyCabbage · 12/11/2014 02:14

A skipping rope and some Sun-in?

Woodenheart · 12/11/2014 02:25

Whats your budget? Grin

BiddyPop · 12/11/2014 09:56

A lovely candle (Max Benjamin or similar) or room scent sticks thing (I have NO idea what the proper word for those yokes isBlush)?

A lovely scented soap and hand cream? L'Occitane, Body shop etc.

A nice mug for her tea/coffee (kitschy "World's Best Receptionist" or dainty china with lovely decoration or more regular everyday pottery with her favourite character/animal type ones could all be options)?

wanders off wondering if she has missed the whole point of the (lighthearted) thread.......

JingleSpud · 12/11/2014 10:09

deodorant?

Guitargirl · 12/11/2014 10:31

T-shirt saying 'My name's Sharon and I don't like ferrero rocher'.

AlphaBravoHenryFoxtons · 12/11/2014 12:31

Oh thanks for the excellent ideas.

I should perhaps have given a few more details.

My budget is a fiver. The gift must be high quality/classy though, hence Ferrero Rocher last year.

It can't be hosiery as she is vile for weeks if we so much look at her inordinately large calves and incongruously slim ankles.

Compression bandages and an anklet?

TheJiminyConjecture · 12/11/2014 14:55

Strappy shoes 2 sizes to small? Get the baking bread look around the feet and ankles to balance out the calves?

Behoove · 12/11/2014 14:55

A half leg of lamb?
Like this...

(Yes I know this would be ££)

bryonyelf · 12/11/2014 17:56

I'd regift forero rocher as well. Vile things and not much thought. You'd be better off giving a pair of socks out the pound shop.

bryonyelf · 12/11/2014 17:57

Marks and spencer tin of biscuits. Half price at £5 just now.

Velocirapture · 12/11/2014 17:58

A book of Soduku puzzles. All receptionists are fiends for Soduku.

rootypig · 12/11/2014 17:58
Biscuit

Well I have got Kathy on reception in our work Secret Santa this year and I have got her a mug from M&S with a K on and am going to fill it with fudge in a festive bag (from Lidl).

Mrsgrumble · 12/11/2014 19:14

Pair of earrings?

Nice mug

Candle

Good grief. That leg of lamb is Susan on reception's leg.

I thought about gifting her a slogan mug: 'Susan does it in reception' type of thing. But I fear an action in the tort of defamation.

My guess is Susan really doesn't like you and will re-gift anything you buy her so just knock yourself out in the £1 and buy range of gifts.

AlphaBravoHenryFoxtons · 21/11/2014 21:45

There are some good ideas here. Thanks.
