When is the optimal time to send Christmas cards? (Light-hearted)

What date do you send your Christmas cards on?

Too early and you look a bit sad or annoyingly over organised. They'll get my card and say 'That 'Myearhurts' really needs to get a life'.

Too late and everyone is thinking 'Myearhurts, always rushing to do things at the last minute, the slattern'.

Any thoughts?

I actually love Christmas cards but I think they will die out. I am cutting right back- the postage is too high. Young people don't send them as it is.

It cuts down the workload, no end :o

I'm planning to send out first week of December. No item what the norm is though Grin

I have some leftover cards in the loft with the decorations. These will come down early December so will get them out that week.

About 10th Dec for those I send.

i agree with Mehitalbel6, around the 10th so they are received by mid december. you want them to be able to look at them for a couple of weeks - well i do since mine are hand made.
