I now need an ikettle. Hmm

DamselNotInHerDress · 12/11/2014 17:09

The thing with the ikettle is, I'm sure you really want fresh water in the kettle rather than water you've put in there the night before?
Perhaps I should have wondered about this before I bought it? Grin
Pizza, wanna buy a kettle?!

LinzerTorte · 12/11/2014 17:14

BorntoFolk Kidsmagstore closed down on 31st October IIRC (according to their FB page); I was really annoyed as I was intending to order some magazines and was about two days too late.

Onthemountain · 12/11/2014 17:18

My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle Kingdom is back down to £21.79
MLP LINK

Onthemountain · 12/11/2014 17:25

My Little Pony Equestria Vehicle is down to £9.99. I know it has been cheaper in Sainsbury but our closest is 60 miles away. Little Pony Equestria Vehicle MLP CAR

StantonLacy · 12/11/2014 17:25

glenthebattleostrich Snap!
I've been after a Vidia doll for months now - so annoying that everytime I go to Argos, ALL of the other fairies are there, but no Vidia.

Have even emailed Disney, but no luck Sad

If any one sees one in Argos or has one tucked away somewhere, I would be so grateful - glen is first in the queue obviously! (apols for hijack!) DD is desperate for her.

The ebay ones are outrageous considering it is 10 normally.

Joycey29 · 12/11/2014 17:26

Found you - now for some more bargains!

Onthemountain · 12/11/2014 17:26

^^ sorry link not working...try again! MLP CAR

wrenster · 12/11/2014 17:29

Finally I can share a bargain!

Anyone looking for teenage mutant ninja turtles? I had the van but looking for the individual turtles which were on Amazon for 9.99 each and even more at Symths.

They are now all £4.99 bar one (can't remember which) so if anyone needs them I'd head on over there now.

Also if anyone is looking for Lucy the Dog it's in b&m home bargains for £22 which is at least £10 cheaper than Argos. Good price on Amazon too.

ConsiderablyBiggerBuns · 12/11/2014 17:34

Hello, to the people who were looking for personalised cake tins and water bottles, had you thought about buying plain ones and ordering name stickers. There are a number of suppliers on eBay. I used a company called max-graphics for some for my goats' (yes, real goats not IKEA ones!) feed bucket. Looked good and hasn't peeled in the slightest despite being left out in all weathers.
Also, there is a free £5 gift card with every purchase of a £20 gift card in New Look. Can't used the £5 card until 1st December, but if there is anything you want, worth buying the cards now and then spending them in December. Best thing would be to make several individual transactions of £20 cards if you need more budget to maximise the amount of freebie £5 cards.

FernArable · 12/11/2014 17:46

My DD pointed out a Vidia doll a 'few weeks' ago and we're both racking our brains to think where. I want to say Asda but could have been when we were in States over the summer. I'll keep thinking!

Reastie · 12/11/2014 17:50

Thanks dandelions for that reminder on the check OP reminder. i'm trying to keep it updated but can't put everything in there or it would take up the whole 1000 threads and my life ahem it does already . Thanks for all the help on codes/links which no longer work too and don't feel bad for shouting the info to me I need it Grin

Drank glad you got paid in time. Fazzolari (or whatever they're called) have never sent me a sample aside from the initial one Envy . They do send me very lovely brochures every now and again though which I put in the bin straight away so I don't buy anything

Hair I got DH thermal silk long johns, that any good as an idea?! Grin (DH and I are so rock and roll)

never does that mean we ave to pay for the disney dvds from TCB? I can't even remember whether I had to put my card details in or not Blush . I wasn't a new member but it let me go through the link etc.

I picked up a couple of next codes for £10 off a min £15 spend when you open an account (can pay it off straight away). Free collection from store. I'll try to post them later.

Bugger, I now NEED an iKettle for DP. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I've used the WauWaa code with multiple different email addresses but all delivered here and I've just had all but one order cancelled and an email to say they've busted me! Xmas Blush If anyone else is planning to give it a bash I would recommend a pseudonym and getting them delivered to a neighbour!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/11/2014 17:55

Grin Betty

Waitingonasunnyday · 12/11/2014 18:04

Ooh Betty! Tell them you were ordering for friends who don't have internet access Wink

BornToFolk · 12/11/2014 18:06

Oh no, that's annoying! Just goes ti show that you need to grab the bargains when you see them!Wink Wink thanks for letting me know.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 12/11/2014 18:21

Whoop whoop....and I got a tax rebate too! Grin

I am doing dd a Harry Potter hamper full of Chinese tat not the expensive Warner Bros official stuff obviously and got a deathly hallows pendant for a 1p and free delivery from China, the same seller we bought all that tat from last year, sanne something or other IIRC.

Delivery was within a couple of weeks last year so still time!

StantonLacy · 12/11/2014 18:26

FernArable thank you!

To make matters more difficult, it has to be a 9" Vidia to match her other fairies...she is so particular Grin
Thanks to everyone for this great thread, too - I lurk every year and contribute where I can, can't believe how many fantastic bargains everyone tracks down! Smile

glenthebattleostrich · 12/11/2014 18:32

Thanks fern and I'll keep checking my local argos

PamelaEwing · 12/11/2014 18:39

Husband went to sorting office to collect 3parcels for me today and when we got home had missed royal mail again for another errrmmm 5- he was like what the hell have you been ordering in a jokey way it's much better if I am home open n hide them away. He is pleased that it doesn't involve him having to shop though.

OohOod · 12/11/2014 18:46

I want an Ikettle now. I don't drink hot drinks but I like Ithings marketing gurus wet dream

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 12/11/2014 18:49

Wow I can't believe someone was selling a reservation for £25 Xmas Shock Xmas Shock

I was in home bargains today and they had really nice Christmas doormats for £3.99 Xmas Grin I resisted as I'm short of cash and my DP would have despaired at more unnecessary crap. They had those hot chocolate on sticks with a little gingerbread biscuit for 69p and festive mugs for 99p, I thought they would make nice teacher/brownie leader gifts.

BadtzMaru · 12/11/2014 18:54

Pack of 3 barbies down to £6.49 at argos.

PizzaPasta · 12/11/2014 18:56

I love the idea of having a whole herd of christmas goats. Although I doubt DP would... Grin
