Solar Christmas icicle lights - seen any?

I can find solar Christmas lights or mains icicle Christmas lights but not solar icicle Christmas lights.

Or is the concept of solar lights in December a bad idea?

Probably not a great idea, they don't charge that well and can be rather dim. You would be better off with mains powered on a timer. I think B&Q had exterior battery powered lights with timer but don't know how well they last or if they had icicle ones.

Can I ask a really dumb question here about how one gets the electricity source? Do you leave a window open, or drill a small hole through the wall/door, or what?

Girly Thanks for that advice; thought it might be the case. Timer is a great idea.

Awesome At our last house I put the wire out of a window and was able to still close the window by squishing it in the seal. At this house we could probably run the cable out of the garage door.

You can also get battery- operated ones.
