Looking forward to Amazon Black Friday

Last year was the first year I discovered Amazon Black Friday week and I got some great bargains.

I'm really looking forward to this year. I'm not hoping for anything specific so just looking forward to it in general.

Anyone else?

When is it this year?

Following ive not heard of it before

I got a few good bargains last year but they do lightning deals every day now so not expecting it to be as good this year

Starts 24th November just looked

I got 3 bargains last year. Lego bucket, marble run, Famous Five box set. Was great!

Oh how do you know what's in the lightening deals I'm new to Amazon

I got fly boots, a silver bangle and a handbag last year, can't wait!

I got practically all my christmas presents in black Friday week last year excited!

It starts earlier. I think Friday 28th Nov is Black Friday. Last ear I got GHDs plus hairdryer for £99 from John Lewis

I love Black Friday. My favourite week of the year. I do my entire christmas shopping.

fairy I got the famous five box set as well! I wasn't going to but it was too good a bargain to resist - DD was only 4 months at the time so a bit before she's ready for them!

I love black Friday! My birthday is that week so I can pick up bargainous presents for me as well as everyone else. I love it.

Helga - that is even more organised than me! I think I've got another year before DD can have them. They are safe in the loft in the meantime!

I love black Friday week on Amazon. Need to try and put some money back for it, which is never easy!

Holy shit, I was about to post on here saying "Silly, you've all missed it, it was a couple of months ago" to realise that it has been a year since the last one

I got a really good camera last year and some books for DS but had to leave them in England and still don't have them

But what IS the amazon Black Friday? And if it's Black Friday, how come it happens during the week?
More importantly, will they email me to tell me it's happening?
Lastly, are there really any bargains, or is it just a load of crap that hasn't sold at a higher price and no one really wants but then can't resist as it's a bargain?

There are some really good bargains, but you have to be really fast to get the good ones. It sort of takes over your life for the week

It's monday-friday. You can sign up for the emails for it. There can be some really good deals but the good ones go fast! Generally a good selection of items. You have to wait for each offer the start at various times throughout the day and takes over life for the week lol!
