Which doll for 7 year old dd?

Dd3 loves dolls and has asked for either this:

agirlforalltime.co.uk/products/lydia-your-georgian-girl-pre-order

Very, very £££ but they are lovely quality and there is an offer coming up soon. Older dd has two of the others in the range which dd3 will inherit at some point.

Or these Frozen dolls:

I'm thinking maybe I should get the Frozen dolls now as can always get the Georgian doll when she's older. But on the other hand, Frozen is on its way out, she might get bored with the dolls and the Georgian doll is really beautiful.

WWYD?

My 7yo loves her Design A Friend doll from Argos. you get clothes and accessories too.

waithorse · 07/11/2014 11:17

I was also going to suggest the Design a Doll range.

waithorse · 07/11/2014 11:18

Design a Friend, not doll.

Thanks, I have seen those dolls from Argos but it's really just a choice between the two I linked. Dd already has Gotz Hannah with lots of clothes.

The Girl for All Time dolls are usually recommended for 8+ We have the, I think it's Matilda, doll from a few years ago.

DD (8) and my nieces (9 and 6) love their cabbage patch dolls!

Out of the two The Girl for all Time doll.

I'd got for the frozen dolls I've bought dd a few of the toddler dolls for Christmas and their beautiful. The frozer animator dolls from disney store are gorgeous and slight more growen up looking are around the same price.
