Don't know what size your ds's feet are, Quint, but I just bought another pack of size 2-4 for the same price (haven't looked for bigger ones as dd, dm & I have small feet so very happy to find the right size for once in nice socks)

can I also recommend goat hair socks, such as these wiggly wigglers - very warm, soft, and fairly fine, I can wear them easily under normal boots in winter. I'm slightly allergic to sheep's wool, so these are better for me.
