I don't suppose your DH knows of anywhere uk based to buy the merchandise?

margaritasbythesea · 04/11/2014 07:22

Thanks for the snow white tips. I am always cautious about dvds from ebay. Any way of telling if they are genuine? I now want my reward points! I wish I had seen that box set before also buying dd the little mermaid. Never mind. I am taking dd and some friends for her birthday treat to see our panto and thiscyear it is snow white. Shd has a book. Ithought the dvd would be nice so thanjs.

and thanks very much for my kindle code sazzermol. Much appreciated.

nodramamama · 04/11/2014 07:25

Moderationineverything I'm in the same boat, DH is a Chelsea fan, likes beer, interested in creating videos but that's it. Every Christmas he says he doesn't need anything... If anyone has any ideas do let me know, I'm after inspiration!

PS re your DH, how about looking on etsy for American football T shirts and memorabilia as they'll ship to UK?

AmberNectarine · 04/11/2014 07:33

Thanks for the heads up about the lightning deals daddykyller - just grabbed the frozen figures for DD to replace the el cheapo fake ones she had from eBay!

MissRainbowBrite · 04/11/2014 07:36

Thank you daddykyller for the Amazon Lightning deals heads up, just ordered the Frozen Bullyland set for DD at £12.49.

VinoTime · 04/11/2014 07:49

Every year I try to get dd an extra 'special' gift from Santa that sits next to her stocking. Last year it was a lovely doe cuddly toy from Build a Bear that came with a special message from Santa explaining that her name was Prancer and dd was to take very good care of her for the big guy.

This year I was kind of scratching my head. And then I had a light bulb moment and started searching, and came up with these!

Polar Express golden Believe train ticket for £2.49 delivered.

Polar Express silver sleigh bell in a beautiful box and with a special message tag from Santa. £3.50 plus £2.85 for delivery.

All in, £8.84 for a really sweet keepsake gift. And nowhere near as expensive as that flippin' reindeer thing cost me last year! Grin

BuckskinnedAstronaut · 04/11/2014 08:03

WannaSplit, there's eBay?

PamelaEwing · 04/11/2014 08:08

Barbie Malibu house currently £54.99 on amazon and free delivery. Sorry can't link as on mobile.

ipswichwitch · 04/11/2014 08:32

Thanks from me too daddykyller for lightning deals tip. I've ended up buying the city of London wooden train set. Looks fabulous, although since the boys have so much already for Christmas I'm putting it away til next year. Hopefully by then DS2 will be less likely to try and eat all the bits!

nodramamama · 04/11/2014 08:32

Vinotime my son loves polar express so thanks for the idea! As he's 3 I might just get the bells in case the ticket made him think he was actually going on the train...
At 9.30 there will be a Galt tricycle on Amazon lightning deals.

Tidlo balance bikes, and mega blocks table on Amazon lightning deals from 7.30 tonight.

nodramamama · 04/11/2014 08:36

nodramamama · 04/11/2014 08:55

Vinotime thanks again for that lovely bells idea, the 'reindeers' dropped off a pressie for our son last year on Christmas Eve, so his one for this year is now sorted and so perfect Smile

well you lovely ladies, I clicked on this thread on sunday night in passing, and then clicked on 100 links and started my christmas shopping. This is early for me Grin

I have found loads of things, especially great stocking fillers, and loads of ideas.

Then I went to asda and the Range yesterday and was still in the zone and picked ip loads of stocking bits for £2 and under.

I am a very happy lady.

Thank you!

TheFantasticMrsFox · 04/11/2014 09:50

25% off everything at Joules from 6th to 9th November with code ND25. Don't know whether it works in conjunction with the spend and save vouchers in the catalogue but assume not.
