Yay! Now Halloween's out of the way, it's time to get really excited : )

I absolutely love the morning after Halloween. I've just taken the decorations down, I'm going out to buy the December issue of Good Food later and I'm going to settle down with my pressies spreadsheet this evening and admire it.

Anyone else feeling that Christmas is a whole lot closer this morning?

Ive just popped a bottle I got last Christmas in the fridge. Unopened so still fresh.

DH just came in with my Good Food magazine. YESSSSS! : ) I'll be having a lovely festive evening later on after the small distractions are put to bed.

Just one more Hallowe'en decoration to come down chez elQuinto, DH will have to get it as I'm a shortarse! And I'll chuck the pumpkin away before DS home from school, it is getting a bit whiffy.

Had a glass of Baileys last night

Got to crack on with present sewing (sheep rug, sheep pillow and sheep pyjama case for DS, personalised stocking for DF's partner) and organising my diary, so far: first Sunday in advent (30th November) brunch at my German friend's house (amazing food), Christmas market and DS's birthday same day, party following day, long weekend 6-7-8 December, work do 19th, I finish 20th, DS finishes 23rd, Christmas Eve grandad's house for caga tio (shitting log, greaft Catalan tradition), Christmas Day home, Boxing day grandad's house, nothing new year, 3rd DSil's house for copious food and drink and exchange Secret Santa with about 8 friends/family, 5th January Barcelona Zoo and watch 3 Kings parade, home late, more presents on 6th... back to work/school 8th January.

And breathe

We will be seeing different town's lights and nativity scenes and yule logs and the like over December. We won't put decorations up until after DS's early-December birthday otherwise I'd have them up today

I'm on my second bottle.
