I use colour coded for the stockings as I don't label any of that, any other paper for tree presents with labels. I'm planning to start wrapping at the end of the month. Hate leaving it to the end but at the same time it gets me Christmasy so nice to do in build up.

I need to start thinking about nieces and nephews now. pretty much done on DDs apart from pyjamas and duvet covers then need to do a tally up.

iamdivergent · 01/11/2014 09:33

Pooh Snuggle Pet Cuddleuppet - £7.87 RRP is £24.99 with free s/s delivery from Amazon

BuffyFairy · 01/11/2014 09:34

I need some Baby Annabell advice please and who better to ask! DD (will be 3.3 at Christmas) has expressed interest in a doll that 'does stuff'. I'm trying to choose between the latest version version 9 or a more basic one Let's Play or the bath time one that's still half price in my Sainsburys Care For Me . I don't mind paying extra if it's worth it. Does anyone have any recommendations / experience with any of those and this age group? TIA

VampiresLoveNECKtarines · 01/11/2014 09:36

Melissa & Doug Pasture Pals now £11.24 on Amazon.co.uk :)

Best price according to Camelcamelcamel

iamdivergent · 01/11/2014 09:40

I always found that DD at that age wanted to bathe a doll, so if I was choosing I'd get the Care For Me one or there is a swimming baby born thats a fiver off RRP on Amazon just now, my dd2 is 6.5 and thats on her christmas list though we don't have a bath anymore

Has anyone seen deals on micro scooters? Ds 7th birthday beg Dec

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 01/11/2014 09:58

3pigs next have gorgeous pink fairy type paper in. I've bought 3 rolls (342) for the dc. There's loads of it, thick quality and grid on the back for cutting straight lines.
I've had to start wrapping now as I'll never get it done in one go without staying up till the early hours and feeding a newborn is the only reason I'm staying up- I've no energy for anything else!

WannaSplitAPineapple · 01/11/2014 10:06

Has anyone seen any cheap fireman sam toys? DS is suddenly obsessed with it so thought I'd get a few bits.

Where's the best place to get the yankee candle advent calendar from? I've dropped enough hints to DH that he isn't taking so I'm getting it for myself.

Adult gift bargain

1year subscription for the national Geographic Traveller 61% off so one year for £15 plus a free traveller flask!

I haven't taken it out but I thought it might make a good (bargainous!) gift for someone.

VampiresLoveNECKtarines · 01/11/2014 10:13

Melissa & Doug Pound and Roll Tower selling on Amazon for £12.94 however it is selling at Toys r us for £4.96 via click and collect.

I have tried to search for where it is available and so far I have only found it available in Birmingham, but it is worth a search to see if it is in stock in your area :)

Wiifitmama · 01/11/2014 10:14

Do you have a link to the traveller magazine thing? I just looked it up as it is perfect for dh but I can only find it at £19 for the year.
Thanks!

TheEnchantedForest · 01/11/2014 10:28

The offer seems to be via unique magazines-I got it through an email offer but I clicked on the link and it does say £15 for a 12 month subscription (plus free gift-flask thing).

4lovelychildren · 01/11/2014 10:42

Thanks for the National Geographic link! Perfect for my dad. I ordered it through their own site and it comes with a free bag.

Wiifitmama · 01/11/2014 10:42

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 01/11/2014 10:57

Just read a thread where many posterz had or where going to spend around £50 on dc for Christmas
Now feel greedy and like I have well overdone it

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 01/11/2014 10:58

Jesus I swear I did not put a z on posters

cookiefiend · 01/11/2014 11:02

Be careful with the national geographic subscription- DM ordered it for DH last year. She had to keep harassing them and the first issue arrived in March. The free gift (hers was a fleece) she forgot about until it arrived at her house three weeks ago! DH still chuffed with magazine, it was a good price etc, just do not count on the free gift being something to wrap under the tree.

Las year MIL bought DN that toys r us doll house at this time. It was good. After she bought it it went back to full price (£50 not £100), then a few weeks later went on two for £30 and she was torn over whether to return it and get a second. (She didn't, I would have!) so watch it if you still want one. It may return.

I had the malteasers in my basket, but realised I would probably eat half of them so resisted- what a deal!

4lovelychildren · 01/11/2014 11:13

Do you know when your mum ordered it cookie fiend? Thanks for the info!

GerrardWinstanley · 01/11/2014 11:21

DD1 has just presented me with her Christmas list. Only 4 things. None of which is anything I've bought -eek! Sad.
Now hunting for bargain My friend Cayla.

Xmassyjingles · 01/11/2014 11:26

My friend Cayla is in Costco for (cant remember exact price) but just under 40!

riskit4abiskit · 01/11/2014 11:42

Brill wrapping tissue paper pack in Costco you get 120 sheets for about 6 quid and some of the patterns are not as Christmassy so could be used for birthdays too

IHeartKingThistle · 01/11/2014 11:55

Oh no, have build a bear stopped doing Toothless?
