When & where is best to buy a Kitchenaid?

I'm buying DP a Kitchenaid for Christmas this year. I've missed the free bowl offer and I'm wondering now whether to hold out for a last minute Xmas offer/discount. Or even a Boxing Day sale purchase so DP can pick his own colour.

Anyone remember if they were discounted last year or in the sales?

Doesn't Amazon have them on their lightening deals?

I bought mine from here, they often have offers ( free items ), it's just down the road from me so I bought in store but they do sell online. www.hartsofstur.com/acatalog/Kitchenaid_Artisan_Mixer.html

Thanks for those links. I'll watch to see if there's any on the Amazon deals and thanks also for the Harts recommendation - that was one of the websites I've been looking at.

if you don't mind a white one then Costco is by far the cheapest place to buy them.

I have the white one from Costco but it is the classic not the artisan model, so slightly smaller. It is fab though.

Check out qvc as well
Although you may be able to find the mixer cheaper elsewhere there are always lots of add ins with the qvc one so you get a lot more for your money

I got mine from Harts of Stur last Nov, got a free KA ice cream maker bowl attachment and a free knife block :) good price as well, definitely not paying over the odds to have the freebies. JL often do an extended warranty on KA's which can be handy.

I got mine off eBay, it's a 'seconds' and a classic. No noticable flaws & works pefectly, it was £219.

I got mine from Harts of Stur too. I got a free glass bowl and a set of scales. I did a lot of shopping around and it was the cheapest place I could find.
