Depends on age group you are buying for. Boots usually do 3 for 2 on lots of gifts..thinking about it..range is for women, men, kids.babies etc.

Maybe a tad early atm.

Last year I taught myself how to knit using google and then knitted scarves for all the women and girlies! 1 ball of wool doesn't cost much at all and you can buy this very hairy looking wool that makes a great scarf! If you can't knit already, find a local wool shop and they'll talk you through the whole thing!

If you live near the coast - you could collect cool looking rocks from the beach as stylish door stops / pebbles to put in to a cheapy glass vase as an 'arty display'. If you live near the woods, drift wood costs a fortune to buy so you're on a winner if you can find any nice bits just lying around if any of your family is in to that sort of thing - again - an arty thing.

For kids - any activity thing like pads of paper and colouring stuff sent us silent for hours; second hand DVDs or CDs from ebay or Amazon for the younger ones?
