Toy vacuum cleaner that works

Does anyone have recommendations for a toy vacuum cleaner that actually sucks stuff up? My 5 year old loves helping with the hoovering but we've got a Henry Hoover and it's a bit heavy and bulky for him to manage so I'd like to get him his own for Christmas. Plus then he can use his at the same time I use mine so I can actually do it 'properly' while still allowing him to feel he's really helping!

I really want one that actually sucks up, as he's nearly 6 and would feel a bit fobbed off with one that doesn't suck up! Plus, the little non sucking ones I've seen look like they're more suitable for toddlers anyway. I've seen that Dyson makes one but the reviews I've read aren't brilliant.

Has anyone got a toy one that sucks up that you would recommend? Thanks

The Henry toys are fab. We bought a second hand Hoover which is also good, I would go for the Henry if I was buying new.

Oh I didn't realise Henry did toy ones that 'work.' I'll have a look. Thanks

Hmm, the Henry one doesn't sound very robust from the reviews and looks like it might be a little small.

How about a dust buster or similar hand held rechargeable, that will pick up properly and should be reasonably robust for a five year old?
