where on the high street can I buy tinsel this week?

everywhere I'd normally look is still doing Halloween stuff (fair enough), but I need tinsel, ideally gold, before Thursday for a fancy dress party.

Anyone seen any anywhere yet?

Masses of the stuff everywhere. The place looked like a nuke had gone off in Santa's grotto.

Poundland has Christmas tinsel in (has done for a few weeks already!)

Matalan had quite a lot in yesterday.

Home bargains

The range has loads.

We went to the range yesterday, they had loads had to try hard to control myself.

B&M

I've seen it in Poundland, Matalan, Home Bargains and B&M.

Was going to say the Range too - made both Dcs over excited - had full Christmas display set up - including talking Santa...they definitely had tinsel (noticed they had some bright purple -I wanted it - don't need it and would clash really badly with what we have but I wanted it... )
And they only had a tiny Halloween section...

Brilliant, I have a Poundland fairly nearby so can try there, sadly no B&m or Home Bargains round here as far as I know. There's also an Argos in the same place as the Poundland, so that's another option.

Failing that I'll have to brave Croydon for Primark

got some in Argos in the end - Robert Dyas had "tinsel garland" which wasn't what I wanted, and Poundland didn't have any at all (they said they would be waiting till after Halloween).
