Best games console for dance / karaoke

We're not a gaming family and would quite it to stay that way so not too fussed about the platform type games, but DDs (age 3 and 6.5) -and me- I know would love Just Dance and a karaoke game.
Any idea what we should get - wii u? Ps4? Should we just get an older model second hand?

Get a wii. The old one, second hand will be a fraction of the price of a ps4!
The "Just Dance" series was very good. You all can dance at same time as long as you have enough controllers.
As for singing, you'll need a mic (or 3!) I heard Singstar is the best but not 100% sure that comes on old wii.
Band Hero was a good one for singing too (and the instruments if you buy those too)

Ok thanks for the that. What about wii mini? Seems to be about £80 new and as far as I can work out seems to play the games etc but just without connecting to the internet?

We have all the singstar games on ps2. They are done really well and good fun
