Does anyone know if they are doing one this year? I can't find anything about anything anywhere about it.

It's too early yet. They keep them top secret. Is it only me who has cried when I watched them for the first time? Last year and the year before

Sainsburys are going to give them a run for their money with their festive campaign...

Apparentely the are re-creating that.

I know I'll cry at that one alone.

Oh I heard about the trenches too but didn't pay attention really.

JL launched the Christmas ad on Sat 8th November last year.

My favourite has been that snowman that goes to the store for his Mrs.

IIRC they showed it during the adverts of X-Factor (was it the final? Can't remember)

There's often a controversy with JL and Waitrose adverts though-

the one with the soldiers and the homecoming, complaints because alot of soldiers couldn't come home

the dog outside- complaints about a dog being in a kennel (changed to a man with a teddy bear)

the Hare and the Bear - complaints that it was another books ikea

I LOVE them, my favourite is the Snowman one too

Honestly, it doesn't matter WHAT they do, someone will complain. Not saying some of them weren't a bit but even those that seem okay on the surface someone finds fault with.

I loved that Snowman. Really romantic chap just like my dh not.
