Thought I would do that this year rather than one present, no idea what 7yr olds like these days! Thank you.

I have a 7 year old boy. Most of them like minecraft, lego and Dr who!

Some stocking fillers mine is getting are:
Playmobil figure blind packs
Lego minifigure blind packs
Uno
Silly putty
Space food
Glow in the dark stars
Bertie bots every flavour beans
Fymo set
And a Melissa and Doug decorate and build your own yoyo.

I have no idea about girls, but I imagine most of my list would suit a girl too. Hope that helps a bit, it's so hard buying for an age group when you don't really know what's popular!

For any stockings I do:

Something to wear - maybe a scarf/ hat.
Something to eat - chocolate reindeer/ coins
Something to play - maybe some nice art paper and pens
Something to read - magazine for age/ preference or book

Can add lip balm/ hair bands/ etc to add few more bits.

However I never fill with just ' stuff'. I try and get stuff that they might actually need as well as like.

Sodial dinosaur eggs
Lego
Uv spy pens
Chocolate
Pants and socks

BUT do you mean you are giving them a stocking? Surely their parent does this... you could complicate the Father Christmas procedure and never be forgiven Wink

I must say that I agree with waiting we had no end of questions when my sister did this for my DDs, especially as she decided to give something different to ds who was a baby. She pretended that FC had left them there too. We had no idea until we turned up there about 4 days after Christmas, the questions lasted for weeks. Talk to their parents first or make it a hamper.

The parents dont do stockings! They always come here to visit about a week before and we have an early Christmas Day and they are allowed their present from us. I cant see its a problem knowing them but will lcheck!
