Good for figleaves! Tried that with BHS yesterday and they wouldn't do it, so I ordered my duvet cover as I was worried it would go out of stock again. Then get an email today saying 20% off home event starting tomorrow! WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THAT YESTERDAY???

izzybizzybuzzybees · 23/10/2014 01:01

Ugh how annoying iheart, they would have known that was happening and should have told you. Unacceptable really!

I'm attempting some late shopping on boots website but it's just crashed as I went to check out....great! DS is up screaming and won't settle, he's a nightmare at night anyway but tonight has been particularly shit :(

IHeartKingThistle · 23/10/2014 01:08

Oh no - hope you get to sleep soon!

ArthurChristmas · 23/10/2014 01:15

I have been lurking for some time as I am a newbie to mumsnet and only came due to the call of Christmas bargains Grin. So, thank you I have lots of bargains stashed everywhere (must work on a special cupboard, like the professionals on here!).

So, can anyone help? I need to find a horsey related present for 9 year old girls. Max spend £10, nice if it looked £20. I am struggling for cheap or not tat!

beadyboo · 23/10/2014 07:07

I missed out on Body Shop bargains online. Popped into their shop whilst shopping in RL and the assistant took pity on me and knocked 30% off all my shopping. They had all the gifts in all the fragrances. Teachers, TAs and after school club ladies all done!

Methenyouplus4 · 23/10/2014 07:24

Clr2017- I also got robin dress and used voucher but cost £17 still???

SpottyTeacakes · 23/10/2014 07:24

I'm going to sainsburys this morning once I've got dd onto the bus. Fingers crossed for some bargains! Even though it's 40 minutes away I should still get there before nine (and hopefully other parents that didn't go yesterday)

LikeSilver · 23/10/2014 07:41

20% off M&S code from 23-27 October on home, clothing and beauty - enter OCT14EM at checkout.

platespinnermum · 23/10/2014 07:47

I have a 20% off code for Great Little Trading Company - NORTHPOLE, minimum spend £50 & use by 10th November. Not the most bargain-friendly retailer but thought I'd post it in case someone is ordering from them anyway.

I'd like to find a decent quality, cool, big-ish beanbag for 7 yr old DS's room - any suggestions where to look?

Reastie · 23/10/2014 07:58

Morning all, another heading off to sainsburys this morning so see what's in.

MB order came yesterday here too. I ordered 2 of those christmas decoration shaped shower gels. They came in a nice gift box (in addition to the gift box they both came in) and were great value at half price (£5 each). I use the little sample bottles for cracker presents as I do home made crackers. The MB mini sample bottles always go down well with the ladies Grin

Always it was me who posted about the Asda iTunes and I think it finished on Sunday but I am not sure.

(sorry, not really very helpful)

I ordered the molton brown cracker as well for me and thought the size of box it was in was hilarious. I had to get dd2 to find Thr sample hand wash as I couldn't for the life of me Grin

AlwaysOneMissing · 23/10/2014 08:38

Has anyone seen the Imaginext Batcave any cheaper than £29.99? Just wondering before I order from amazon.

Jenni2legs · 23/10/2014 08:39

Thanks Elvish! Will check that out.

scopeisawesome123 · 23/10/2014 08:42

I really want to brave Sainsburys but dare not as there is a big one near me and it's half term already here, so have a feeling it will be manic! Also it would mean taking my two dcs along which could be chaos depending on what it's like in store! Argh decisions do I or don't I? Dd is into barbies and ds loves Spiderman etc so I really can't make my mind up!

Anyway bargains I've seen that I don't think have been mentioned. Smyths have bikes for 3yrs plus for 29.99 here it's free delivery on orders over 39.99 for those who don't have one nearby.

Also I'd seen on Tesco direct (can't find the link) Barbie convertible and doll for 12.50 half price.

If anyone can recommend any good brands of flasks or travel mugs it would be much appreciated as I have no idea what I'm lookifng for and df would like one!

Many thanks for all the bargains so far. I have never been this prepared for Christmas before. My womdee scarf came yesterday and I'm very impressed. I had my Disney dvds at the weekend for free! And am still waiting for my Google cardboard for dh but I'm hoping it'll be today as everyone seems to be getting theirs this week.

Right I'm off in search of more bargains and will update if I find any! Thanks all Thanks

Alwaysonemissing- I'm not sure about this year but last year I bought the bat cave when it went down to £24.99. Not sure if it'll dip that low this year though.

My pound world yesterday had loads of frozen bits in, notebooks, pens, plates, cups, hair ties etc. I stocked up for my nieces.

scopeisawesome123 · 23/10/2014 08:48

always I was watching the imaginext bat cave for ages. Argos also have it for 29.99 but not seen it cheaper. I ended up signing up to Very as they have it there for 40 and the superman imaginext hideout for 24. So I signed up as a new customer, which I am, and used the code for 30 pounds off a 60 order which meant I got both sets delivered for 37 pounds which I thought was a great deals as I would have bought the batcave on it's own for 30. If u want the very code let me know and I will see if I can find it.

Hope that makes sense, was typed in haste as I am so eager to share my amazing deal Grin I feel in getting good at this shopping lark!

scopeisawesome123 · 23/10/2014 08:50

** I'm not in damn autocorrect!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 23/10/2014 08:50

I've just placed an order at boots hopefully as the site was messing around and got diesel loverdose perfume for £12 for 30ml which was quite a saving. Also got 3 Yankee candle reed diffusers on the 3 for 2 which makes them very reasonable. There was also a voucher for 10% off a spend of 75 or more so that reduced everything further :) which I got via quidco!

scopeisawesome123 · 23/10/2014 08:53

Very code for £30 off a £60 is 4UU7X you do need to set up a credit account for it to work but can pay it off straight away. Hope that helps
