Gifts for 15 year old dsd?

I need ideas for dsd, we often just give her cash but this year I would rather get her a few gifts ( as she often spends the money on tat or food ). It's her birthday this week and she has asked for a kath kidston bag to Cary her school bags in, I'm thinking of getting her a purse to match her new bag but what else can I get her? She has mentioned revision books for school but I have no idea which ones she needs ( she doesn't live with us and I don't see her very often ). I struggle to buy her clothes as she's quite a big girl, I don't want to get the size wrong as this could be embarrassing either way .

What are you buying 15 year old dd's?

Does she like scarves? Or accessories in general? Accessorize was very popular with my kath kidston loving DD at that age.

She also loved the magnolia range of jewellery.

voucher for clothes shops? top shop, new look, primark etc;

nice toiletries, eg Soap & Glory - I think the packaging is more than half the fun, so a lovely gift set goes down well

Mine is a bit older now but I remember the dilemma all too well. What she seemed to like best was vouchers to go shopping with (New Look, Primark), sweets and chocolate, nail varnishes and "designer" shampoos or smellies.

If she likes the Cath Kidston stuff Id just go with that - purse as you said, and does she have a Kindle? They do Kindle covers. Hot water bottle and cover, soft socks or slippers.
