I'm clueless this year. I've got him a hudl2 so far but just cant think of anything else he'd like. He's got lots of xbox/wii games (running out of appropriate ones available). He isnt into football or fashion. Confused

watching with interest!

My gaming ds not into football or fashion either.

He is however permanently attached to his phone! Going to get him some headphones, a headphone wire holder thing (like this.

I'll get an iTunes voucher, a quirky memory sytick, some pens etc for school. Some lynx type stuff, comedy boxers...got Mrs Browns Boys ones last year. Some cool tshirts...mostly primark mans retro sort of designs...breaking bad, coca cola etc.

no idea for a big pressie yet. He has a birthday before Christmas too.

A game capture so he can record his game playing for uploading to you tube. Top gear books , personalised coke bottle, money box, gaming posters for bedroom. Thinking maybe bean bag chair too.

no idea!!!!! two of them to buy for and not a clue. have main presents but little else.

Think it might be a PS4 this year. As usual "everyone else" is getting one..
Shuttlecocks and badminton gear
Chocolate
Costa card
Like the idea of a headphone stand, thanks chim, as they are usually left lying all over the place.

I already have a thread on here about my 13 year old wantimng nothing but games this year.....and a set of headphones and vouchers for PSN and Steam. He also reads Neo magazine (Manga) so we will renew his subscription for that too as it runs out soon.

14 year old is going to build his own gaming PC so wants components for that and he will buy the rest himself. He also wants a new chair for his desk and new headphones too.

They both always get the Guiness Book of records/Ripleys/and other books, pyjamas, sweeties, calender/posters and general bits and pieces in their stocking.

I was also looking at maybe getting one of those gaming type mouse mats (special surface apparently!)

They aren't into fashion or football.

Other things (apart from Games we have got in the past or that have appeared and then disappeared of the lists are:

Gaming Capture
PSVita
PS4 Camera
Sony Smart Watch
Lego Architecture
Architects drawing board
Drawing stuff
Silly socks
T-shirts from Quertee.
Gaming Mouse
Gaming keyboard
Phones
DVD box sets (Big Bang Theory etc)
Scooters
Dirt Scooters
Scooter lights
Lava Lamps
Sodastream
Popcorn maker
Gaming Controllers/Chargers/Skins

Behoove · 15/10/2014 11:30

I'm smiling reading that list - have seen many of them appearing over the last few years! And what is it about lava lamps that are so mesmerising for teenagers? Grin

Heres a rough guide of what I'm getting my almost 13 year old

Guitar (Main Present)
Mini Fridge
Turtlebeach Call of Duty XBOX headphones
XMen Days of Future Past DVD
Personalised Coke Bottles x 3
20 XBOX Gift Card
Wireless Speaker for his iPhone/iPad
1x Bawbag Boxers
Now Thats What I Call Music Club Hits CD

and the rest will be stocking filler types.. a couple of books, sweets, fisheye lens for a his iPhone. Total cost around 300.00

StillPukin · 15/10/2014 15:47

These are great, thanks. I particularly like the Neo magazine subscription myotherusernameisbetter - my boy also loves manga, I'd forgot I've got him a manga art book, just ordered him a tetris alarm clock.

:)

He gets another one that I couldn't remember the name of earlier. It's Otaku and gets shipped from the States but is great value.

For Christmas, last year, I got my brother (16) a motion sensor sweet dispenser thingy from b & m. (For about £15) Then as little gifts:-

A set of 4 or 5 aftershaves, again from b & m
Little pack of tissues that look like money (I know Home Bargains still have these in)
A scratch card
Racin-Bycyele Pen-Holder - Woodcraft Construction Kit (I can't link here, as I am on my phone. However, that is exactly what it is called on Amazon. I have copied the spelling mistake Smile) They have other themes too.
Favourite chocolates
Honeycomb
Make Your Own Gingerbread Christmas Tree (Home Bargains still have these in). It is a little tradition between us that I buy him a gingerbread house, but last year I deviated a little and got him the Gingerbread Christmas Tree.

He likes having lots of little things to open from me.

I'm not really sure what to get this year. Apart from a gingerbread house obviously!

Thought he might like a Guinness Book of Records from the year he was born - which might seem a bit random, but that's what my teenage sister wants, and I thought my brother might too. One of my sisters always wants pork scratchings in her stocking! Grin
