What do we think? I would love the Jo Malone but it's way out of my budget this year. I might go for the L'Occitane one. I'm finally finding advent calendars exciting again for the first time since I was 7 years old!

The Selfridge's one is quite tempting. they're obv becoming a 'thing' as there's so many now.

exciting!

Notabar · 13/10/2014 19:23

Ooh I'd love the Selfridges one!

Hint hint to my DH maybe...

SoonToBeSix · 13/10/2014 19:28

There is already a thread in the Christmas topic.

themightyfandango · 13/10/2014 19:35

I bought my daughter the Ciate one from fragrance direct. com a couple of weeks ago for £16. Think its last year's but still a bargain.

GatoradeMeBitch · 14/10/2014 10:43

SoonToBeSix Oh sorry, is there? I looked at the first page and didn't see one. But I just searched it and found several threads Blush

So excited! I was hoping to treat myself to the No7 one but my lovely DH has just forwarded me his email order for the Benefit one for me Grin Excellent work DH!

AmeliaPeabody · 16/10/2014 11:56

I'd love a Benefit one. I might hint to dh, as I couldn't buy one all for myself. That would feel too indulgent.

PenelopeGarciasCrazyHair · 16/10/2014 12:04

I was almost tempted to buy the Hotel Chocolat one (£26 for the one with the various truffles, not just plain chocolate shapes + there's 2 per day both for me to share with dp)

However, I realised that I could just buy a box of chocolates and eat several one per day for a lot less money

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/10/2014 13:31

I was thinking about the Benefit one last year but so many of the gifts were non- make-up (like this year there's 6 which are hair/jewellry trinkets)

I'm going to buy the No7 for me
And look out for the Boots one for DD the one they had last year was a mix of brands , she'll use most of them but we can share. I'll fob her off with a Gruffalo Chocolate Calender to make up for her losses) Wink

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 16/10/2014 13:41

I've bought the benefit one today as a pre christmas gift for SIL. Bought it on their website, with free delivery in 3-5 days, so that's great. She will really like it, I know.

waithorse · 16/10/2014 14:25

I was going to buy the Benefit one, but I'm not going to bother. Too many hairclips and the like I wouldn't use. Sad

I'm so glad you mentioned that. Not for me after all

JerseySpud · 16/10/2014 15:33

I want the yankee candle one this year for me .

wfrances · 16/10/2014 16:47

i just bought the benefit one for dd 17.
cant believe theyve sold out already .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/10/2014 22:28

Shock I didn't realise it was released today but YY - Out of Stock already.

I know last year there were a few in-store stockists but I think only large Debenhams and a couple of other places.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/10/2014 22:36

Just had a wander onto eBay, there are some of the Benefit Calenders appearing (one @ £245 Shock and it's already got a bid on it. Is it hand delivered by David Gandy or something? )

scousadelic · 16/10/2014 22:57

I got one last year called You Beauty Advent Calendar and it was brilliant. The Selfridges one I had a few years ago was all Lancôme so nice for one year but I didn't want it again where this one had loads of different brands but all really good ones. It is £50 which is not expensive for what it is
