Ultimate limoncello recipe....

I've made limoncello twice in the past....first time was LOVELY.....second time, not so much! Problem is, I can't remember the recipe/quantities I used each time. What's your tried and tested favourite? TIA!
(Also interested in any other vodka based ideas for drinks as I have four bottles to use up for Christmas drinks )

I have made it before and had good results (although never had the authentic stuff).

I can't link on the iPad, but if you google PigletWillie limoncello, the recipe is on p 5 of the Limoncello thread on the Grow Your Own forum. I have tried it and it works, I tend to use the juice of the 15 lemons as well as the zest.

The quickie version on p 1 (4 hours in the freezer rather than 80 days - it is only 76 to Christmas!) is also a winner if you need speed.
