Hi all - looking for Christmas ideas - can anyone recommend any games suitable for this age - DD doesn't have much of an attention span but has the pop up pirate game which she quite likes.
Think Orchard Toys Shopping List gets mentioned often - is it any good?

If there is anything an 18 month old could sort of join in with that would be a happy bonus!

thanks

Shopping list is great and 18 month old could join in of sorts. Red rover game is good for both ages too and I have found UNO works for both ages too ( with support!) tiddly winks really captures 4 year olds attention she cries laughing :) orchard toys rhyme robber is great too but maybe a bit old yet if she isn't really hearing rhymes?? Any of the orchard toys games are great really! Can get giant snakes and lasers in its of characters that might get her interest.

My 3yo has loads of orchard toys board games. They can be modified to suit the age.
Shopping list game (like bingo)
Pop to the shops (like monopoly, characters move between different shops and have coins to buy items.)
Bus stop (each player's bus moves along the board. Throw dice to move and to decide how many people get on or off the bus) You can invent stories about the people and where they are going. The board. had pictures of shops , houses, a school, a play park, lake... Even omit the dice for younger children and just move around the board as the 18mo pleases.
