I am away with work this Christmas, DH is also working and isn't a Christmas fan but I'd like to organise something for him such as a food hamper or something.

He does cook but would prefer easy foods as he's working shifts throughout and I know he'll not be arsed. Also some gifty things.

Did think about booking a supermarket slot and sending him some bits, but a bit boring though isn't it!!

Just want him to feel less alone and let him know that I will be thinking of him. Thank you

All the big department stores do hampers & so do M&S & Waitrose. John Lewis have a range of different suppliers so you could send him a chili lovers hamper or cheese lovers selection - interesting crackers & chutney etc. Lakeland do them too & so do Carluccio's. Carluccio's do some which are fancy dried pasta with sauces you can stir in & they come in a big box.

Last time I had to work xmas and do was alone (this was pre dc) I hid little presents (nice bottles of beer, snacks and a new dvd) around the house and texted him clues throughout the day.

Good idea At, but I'm away for 2 months and will be leaving in a couple of weeks so need to organise myself!
