decent but not too expensive art pens?

ds (10) has been eyeing up his older sister's Letraset Promarker pens but knows he will get 'scragged' if he even touches them. They were expensive and I would like to get him something similar but not the same brand to avoid accusations! Not ordinary felt tips but something a bit more grown up and artistic

I don't know what Promarker pens are but Djeco do some nice felt tip pen sets, some of them have a tip at one end and a brush at the other. They last a long time too.

I bought some Staedler Fine Line pens last year (cannot remember how much but IRC they were a 'bogof' from The Range .
