What is a Christmas organiser? I think I probably need one!

glenthebattleostrich · 01/10/2014 15:57

It is a lovely little folder with sections for recipes, gift list, Christmas card list, to do list, menu planner and notes.

I bought one last year. It's wonderful.

glenthebattleostrich · 01/10/2014 16:31

It is ridiculous just how excited I am.

I'm even googling to see if I can get refils!

It sounds so unnecessary but so lovely Grin

lemonbonbon35 · 03/10/2014 08:41

Just saw them on the internet they do look lovely! I made my own christmas organiser yesterday actually! Quite impressed with it!

elQuintoConyo · 03/10/2014 11:22

I may have to get myself one of those!; I currently have an A5 notebook that I take everywhere to jot down thoughts, prices, tick off lists. And I have a Christmas folder (brown ringbinder - really festive Hmm ) for the rest: recipes, sewing designs, decoration templates etc. I showed my best friend last week and she was awed Grin

Everytime we meet to sew or talk about Christmas, we call it the Rudolph Club! I'm sure an organiser would be right up her street - I'm off to Amazon.

TheOnlyPink · 03/10/2014 13:04

I love my cath kidston organiser! It's just so christmassy and let's me get all controlling without bothering anyone!

Enjoy yours!

glenthebattleostrich · 03/10/2014 16:47

Heels99 · 06/10/2014 07:44

I do my own online version spreadsheets are your friend for Xmas planning

ajandjjmum · 06/10/2014 07:44

I have a book that's sectioned off - I've used it for 10 years now - I think there's room for one more year!

As well as lists of cards/presents/addresses etc., I do a brief resume of anything special that happened each Christmas, which is quite nice to look back through.

Lovelydiscusfish · 09/10/2014 22:21

Yay! Mine turned up today. Am ridiculously pleased and have also ordered one for my cousin, as her Christmas present. DH thinks I shouldn't have, as she is agarophobic and consequently tends not to celebrate Christmas in a hugely sociable way, but as she sends (and receives) mountains of cards and gifts, I think she will love it.

noideawottoget · 10/10/2014 09:43

i got mine a couple of weeks ago. not much in it yet though as i cant find my old christmas book to copy all the bits i=out of.

TheImprobableGirl · 10/10/2014 10:21

I can't find mine :( :( :( where the f has it gone?! The only place I haven't checked is in the loft with the Xma decs...... Where would you hide if you were my cath kidston organiser?!
