Dairy free chocolate advent calendar

Has anyone came across a dairy free chocolate advent calendar?

I know it won't be particularly tasty but my DD feels shorts changed enough when she misses out on foods her friends all have so I would love to try and find her a nice advent calendar!

You can get ones with pockets in so you can add your own gifts...
Failing that I'm sure amazon can help? Or a dairy free website? not that I know if they exist!!!

Googling the words "dairy-free chocolate advent calendar" comes up with at least three options.

I'm sure I got one from a supermarket last year, in the free-from aisle.

Moo Free and Kinnertons both do them and sell online (just google both names) - Moo Free tastes fine. Our local health food shop stocks a selection of chocolate DF goodies in the run up to Christmas.

I also used to melt chocolate and bought a little christmas chocolate mould and some foil wrappers and make Christmas chocolates for our fabric advent calendar.

They've already got them in the Free From aisle in my local Sainsburys

We're dairy free and gluten free here and like you am really conscious of wanting them to not feel left out. I've gone for This instead this year. We also put coins in our advent house. I feel so sorry for the kids with all their exclusions that I wanted to do something special and different.

I just haven't found a gluten and dairy free chocolate that's nice?!

Or maybe just add sweets instead? Sorry, will stop posting now?

I know acheyjakey the ones we have tried in the past haven't been very nice. I was hoping someone might already have tried a really nice one and could recommend.

We have tried Moo free and my DD isn't too keen.

I used to buy Divine 70% dark chocolate hearts (says made in a factory that handles milk etc). They were really lovely, we all prefer dark chocolate here.

Also, Divine dark chocolate bars to make shapes, I bought silikomart moulds and others from an Italian company which worked really nicely. You can buy cheaper ones though.

Sainsburys did an own brand one last year which went down well with my DS. It had rice crispies in it which distracted him from the slightly watery chocolate! I haven't seen it yet this year.

Achey - it was a last resort when my daughter became old enough to notice that everyone else (not in this house) had all sorts of stuff. It was easier when she was very small.

I also used to make some lovely df truffles with Kinnerton chocolate, soya cream and crushed raspberries, they came about after I bought a box of booja booja truffles, we all loved them but they cost £1 each if you worked it out so they really were special occasion chocolates .. but we ended up buying a little box every month because there was so little else about.

I used to buy a normal advert calendar for favourite character, carefully open the end remove tray and eat chocolate. Wash through and then melt dairy & soya free chocolate and put it in the tray, leave to set and reinsert and reseal. Mine were only intolerant though so not worried about traces.

You can get them fairly easily as others have linked to, but I prefer a 'fill your own' advent calendar for my dairy free child.
DS prefers it too because he gets more sweeties per bag than a chocolate advent calendar. We have wooden calendars with 24 little bags and pop in haribos or chewy sweets. We reuse the same calendar every year so it's only the cost of the sweets and it makes a nice Xmas decoration too.

Sainsburys had one last year I think in the free from bit- defo chic coins and I'm sure it was next to that!! (Sorry I only get the gluten free stuff not as sure on dairy!)

Asda had one when I was in today.
