Looking for a cake topper (is that the right word?)

to go with this bunting decoration on my Christmas cake. I will also put a wide red gingham ribbon around the cake (7 inch round). I say my cake, its not mine at all, my mum will be making it and bringing it over Smile

I have no cake decoration skills whatsoever, and certainly could not do anything with a piping bag. So I am looking for something small and tasteful that I can just buy and plonk on top to make it look festive. But not tacky.

All help appreciated!

do you mean a flat topper or figurine type things? What sort of thing do you mean?

Well I don't really know to be honest, but I think I mean something that stands up! I thought the bunting might not look enouigh on its own, and hat the cake might need some more interest. But its a small cake, and not hugely deep, so nothing massive.

Try eBay for cheap 3rd cake toppers.

I made tiny cake bunting for dad's 1st birthday, it took ten minutes with card, a stapler and two barbecue skewers.
