Anyone bought "My Friend Cayla" doll?

Seems to be stated everywhere as the top girls toy for Christmas. Personally find it a bit freaky (just been watching you tube clips) but I know dd will love it! It connects to your wifi to search the internet for answers to questions you ask her so you can have proper conversations! I'm sure it's going to drive me bonkers!

We've got it, its been sitting in the wardrobe for a couple of weeks. Weirdly DH saw it on a top toys for Christmas prediction months ago and pre-ordered it expecting it to be really popular but we haven't seen it or any adverts for it at all.

I was put off by a review which said it doesn't work at all when away from wifi so if you take it out in the open etc.

No it only works near wifi. My children never take toys out with them thouh so that won't affect us.
