Christmas Activities North East

Any tips for fun Christmas activities in the North East? I have lots of family visiting with children and would love to get some activities booked nice and early

Beamish is always lovely in Winter :)

Just marking place on thread as I would like some ideas too.

There is the polar express and the panto at the theatre royal is always good although whitley bay playhouse is generally a cheaper option. Kielder Winter Wonterland is great but expensive. Whitehouse farm generally have Christmas activities and a Santa grotto.

The santa train is lovely, google "tanfield railway santa express " for details.

Alnwick gardens normally have something on.
