Where can I buy a fireplace garland?

Guessing it might be a tad early yet but anyone know anywhere online where I can get a large garland to go over the mantel piece? We recently moved and the last house lacked much of a fireplace so would love to make a big deal of this one!

Can you buy them or do I need to get creative and make my own?

Balsalm Hill sell lovely garlands, I can't remember which one I have but it is 'real tip' or whatever they call it.

I have one of these, I couldn't find a really nice one so I got 2 from hobbycraft and twisted them together to make it nice and thick and added my own lights and accessories.

I can't remember where we got ours from. It probably came from a garden centre. We've had it for years. I have wrapped lights around it and then decorate with baubles to match the Christmas tree.

Have you tried googling? I don't think the internet existed when I bought ours. It has certainly lasted well.

I was desperate for one a few years back and found a lovely one with berries and fir cones attached in Asda for £6. They've had them in every year since.

Yes to the QVC lit one, it's really good and you programme it to come on for 6 hours or constant. It can either twinkle or be static white light. You then add pine cones or baubles piled on the mantelpiece

It came in a pack last year with a lit wreath which I used for my front door - also great and you just personalise it by adding your own baubles or ribbons

Very sturdy and substantial

I bought one in M&S last year. They have 50% off decorations one week in the run up to christmas. It was a bargain and comes out every year.

Thanks everyone.

I may wait and see what the shops have first then before ordering online as I like to have a feel first :)

Although I like the idea of programming the lights!

Garden centres are great for these .mine are plain and I decorate them myself means I can change them every year

QVC was where I got mine last year - it was a lit one. It looked fab and it will be out again this year!
