I'm sure Sainsburys did wooden balance bikes for about £7 last year (and wooden garages iirc)

dannyboyle · 14/09/2014 22:47

I know last year there were many people buying the personalised face cloths. Can anyone remember where they were from?

Chockywockydoodah · 14/09/2014 22:51

Elsa dress a bit cheaper on Ebay than Ali Express. Lots of dress variations from this seller. I ordered the Elsa dress as worn by the little girl in the picture in front of the window with a free crown. It was £2.98 plus £5.98 shipping.

daddykyller · 14/09/2014 22:55

Some other stuff I've found:

Peppa Pig Plush Dolls
6 different characters available too - £2.34 & free delivery from an ebay

Pirate's Treasure Gemstone Chest on amazon for £9.95 - but it is one of those where you have to reach £10 for free delivery. I'm sure there will be other nice things along soon though :)

Thought these were also pretty cool:
Estone Cute Cartoon Unisex Children Kid Sports Bendable Rubber Strap Quartz Wrist Watch at £1.99 and free delivery

Hi everyone - found you! Thanks for the new thread. Am hoping to go into town tomorrow so will report back.

Did see online that some (?) poundlands have rolls of frozen wrap.

Chockywockydoodah · 14/09/2014 23:10

Thanks daddykyller dd will love playing swashbuckle with that pirate chest. Love ideas like that which are not something you'd necessarily think of but the kids will absolutely adore.

daddykyller · 14/09/2014 23:25

Seen something else now (and now I really should just go to bed lol)... Loads of Sylvanian Families items reduced on amazon. See these search results:

Hmm just noticed how small pirate chest is - think jewels inside must be tiny so maybe dd is a bit young....

mammmamia · 14/09/2014 23:54

Not for Christmas but DD has no less than three Frozen-themed bday parties coming up, so I've bought some Frozen 3D puzzles for presents that are normally £10 but Argos have them in their 2 toys for £15 which is fairly good.

momwhereismy · 15/09/2014 00:13

Thanks for pirate chest and tmnt pillow. My ds will be over the moon and santa will get all the credit damnit!!

lauriebear · 15/09/2014 00:35

Just stopping by to say I saw the following in RL today:

Frozen Lunch boxes (nice glossy insulated ones) in B & M Bargains for £4.99 (not available online)
Online they have a nice looking Elsa Duvet set for £16.99

Wilkinsons had a reduced section that had Peppa Pig deck of cards for £2 down from £4 (for playing happy families, snap etc...)
They also had Hello Kitty china teaset reduced to £2.50
and not a massive deal but they were selling Planes 2 Die casts for £7 rather than the usual £7.99 I've seen elsewhere

Card Factory had disney and Marvel stocking fillers reduced to 99p mostly little stationary sets like Planes felt tip pens and Cars or Avengers pencil ruler rubber sets... They also have their xmas cards in if you are looking to snag earlybird bargains they usually due boxset charity cards affordably

Browneyesblue · 15/09/2014 00:35

Ikea's Christmas stuff should be on sale by 1st Oct, and you can see some of the Christmas products here

lauriebear · 15/09/2014 00:41

Amazon doing Flash Deal on Scooters and Sandpits around £10 each... Sorry if someone mentioned this already

lauriebear · 15/09/2014 00:45

Quiche Balance bikes from Halfords:
Wooden Apollo one £34.99 down from £39.99
Trax one £34.99 (comes in different colors in store... I think... we have a Strider one and this one looks near identical for a fraction of the price)

margaritasbythesea · 15/09/2014 07:07

Seasalt have free delivery 'until monday' on their website. Am guessing it means until end of today.

Chockywockydoodah · 15/09/2014 08:01

Someone was looking for wooden dolls furniture to fill a dolls house. Asda have this set for £15

mamapants · 15/09/2014 08:05

Not sure if anyone is still looking for a pram but there is a nice looking silver cross pram set on amazon for 40 down from 80.

nickdrakeslovechild · 15/09/2014 09:51

Ooh my baby Sven has arrived. It's the cutest thing, thank you for whoever posted it. My LO is going to love him.

shufflebum · 15/09/2014 09:55

I'm thinking of a scooter for DH for Christmas, apparently this is a bit controversial on mn! Looking to spend a max of £60 but need it to be decent otherwise he won't use it but fed up with him messing about on the children's ones in case he breaks them!

NorksEnormous · 15/09/2014 09:57

Glad you like it nick Smile

PinkSquash · 15/09/2014 10:07

Thanks Laurie for the Amazon scooters, DS2 will now have a new scooter for Christmas. Thanks

Has anyone seen a good deal on a stunt scooter at all? DS1 has been asking for one for a while but I can't see any decent deals.

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 15/09/2014 10:09

www.matalan.co.uk/mobile/events/christmas/christmas-lights/s2575632/240-multi-functional-led-multi-coloured-lights--18m

I'm looking at these... Bargain or not? How many do usually need for a Xmas tree (6ft) ? without bald patches

I usually make do with several £ shop strings but this year I want enough on one strung to just plug one plug in

DangerousMouse · 15/09/2014 11:25

My daughter is getting a skiing trip for christmas, so not any 'real' gifts from me, but I want to get her a new suitcase with some ski equipment in.

I'm looking for a large, funky suitcase for a 10 year old girl - but not too girly.

Any ideas? The Paul Frank ones are nice, but about £80 and I can't find any reduced.
