Admiral I was in boots yesterday and the assistant thought that the 'offer of the week' might be starting next week aswell, is that right? I am going to treat myself to the number 7 one this year if they do one...

Finlaggan · 20/09/2014 08:15

John Deere ride on tractor and trailer is currently £63.99 on amazon, half price.

I've been tracking it on CamelCamelCamel for DS.

That his christmas sorted

www.kgbdeals.co.uk/national-UK/40939-anna-elsa-plush-doll-set?aff_id=

KnackeredMuchly · 20/09/2014 08:22

I need a Boris Johnson onsie!!!

Tell the poster on other thread her best bet is to buy a plain cotton onsie and go on ebay and buy a custom fabric iron on transfer and send pictures if Boris Johnson. A couple of Conservative emblems too and job's a good 'un

lucysmam · 20/09/2014 08:24

Sad Notso neep's coming up at £9 & pennies I can't remember this morning. Dd2 loves A&T so he would have gone down well for the top of her stocking.

Never mind...might go for baby Sven instead.

Notso · 20/09/2014 08:40

lucysmam if you look at the box underneath that says other sellers Neep is £3.00 add on item.

KittyMouseRocks · 20/09/2014 08:42

admiral - look out for the overly excited girl with the B&M bag! Grin

Notso · 20/09/2014 08:42

It's under where it says add to wish list.

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2014 08:42

Lucysmam - Neep is an add-on item at £3 - just need to find some other bits to push it over (but is that against the bargain hunting ethos?)

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2014 08:44

Ooh sorry - thank you Notso for the Neep top, DS1 will love him.
and the books I will buy to get him at £3 Grin

Chocolateteabag · 20/09/2014 08:44

Top? Tip!

Felyne · 20/09/2014 08:47

haha, just on Amazon and found Benedict Cumberbatch personalised wrapping paper...
www.amazon.co.uk/Benedict-Cumberbatch-Personalised-personalisation-characters/dp/B00FD5OUYE/ref=sr_1_18?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1411199186&sr=1-18&keywords=christmas+wrapping
I do not own it and am not likely to buy it so can't review but know a lot of people would be in to this!

BuddyKringleberry · 20/09/2014 08:53

Did anyone notice whether Amazon dropped their prices during the Argos 3 for 2 a few weeks ago? I remember amazon shamelessly undercutting Argos prices last year during the 3 for 2 events. I'm itching to finish my kids last bits, I've seen some stuff for a good price in Costco but wonder whether it's worth holding off for the event to see what happens with Amazon? X

lucysmam · 20/09/2014 08:57

oooh, really!? I'd only just woken up when I clicked, can't have looked properly! Thank you, I have lots of stuff in my basket waiting to check out but nothing to bump it up for free postage so will put Neep in now Grin

Titsalinabumsquash · 20/09/2014 09:10

I need one of those flicker scooter things if anyone sees any great deals. Smile

I am fully anticipating getting to Black Friday on Amazon and buying far too much, not that that's happened the last 2 years or anything oh no... Blush

PamelaEwing · 20/09/2014 09:20

iggy Christmas stuff due in at Ikea beginning of October apparently.

Sorry can't remember who it was who was looking for a cheap deal on photo jigsaws but I got notification from Boots that they have an up to 30% offer on personalised photo things using code BPE3SNS914 if that's any help?

Fern we have that Playmobil school from last years bargain thread where it was £39.99 half price at Argos. I think that the Amazon seller has exaggerated that RRP!

admiralclingus · 20/09/2014 09:27

trisis I'm back in today so I'll ask my manage. I love gift of the week but they get smaller each year Sad
kitty I'll keep my eyes peeled! I'll be the stressed looking one over by the pharmacy!!!!

FernArable · 20/09/2014 09:47

Pamela I had a feeling that might be the case. I nearly bought a playmobil police van at the bargain price of £18.99 down from £45 googled it first and it was selling between £18-£25 full price else where! Sneaky buggers!

jamtoast12 · 20/09/2014 09:58

I don't think amazon did as it wasn't the big 3 for 2 was it? I think it only does it when argos offer 3 for 2 on all toys.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 20/09/2014 09:59

DD's Anna coronation day dress arrived this morning. I ordered the 110cm/age 5 US and it will fit her just and no more (I hope) at Christmas. The waist is the same size as her age 2-3 dress from JL. HERE. Just to help those of you trying to size them. It was here within 15 days too. Altogether not bad for £5.85!

JerseySpud · 20/09/2014 10:05

I'm just going to put this in here...

Frozen Elsa Snow Glow

If you go to other buying options its £27.99 on Amazon (£23 for me and Olivio as we're Jersey people and special).

Its out of stock at the moment but if you order it now they will dispatch it as soon as it comes into stock...

(£35 in Smyths)

Tits Flikers are quite hard to buy new & cheap, I have got one for my daughter this year, and ended up getting one second hand but practically unused from Gumtree, because all the online prices were still more than what I wanted to spend. Or else they wouldn't post to where I am. DD needs the larger sized Fliker though, which is probably why. The mini sized seem to be cheaper.

Anyway, here is one from £38, though I don't think it's the Fliker brand

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kids-Speeder-Scooter-3-wheels-Fliker-swing-slider-Foldable-adjustable-Speeder-M-/231338268320?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Scooters_LE&var=&hash=item35dcd5d6a0

Genuine ones here, ranging in price from £34-74 small to large

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100-Genuine-Fliker-Scooters-Yvolution-Push-Scooter-Various-Styles-BNIB-/271542270612?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Scooters_LE&var=&hash=item3f392e3a94

An A3 (the large one got DD, i think) for £79.99

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yvolution-Y-Fliker-A3-Air-Series-Scooter-Pink-/360870795726?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Scooters_LE&hash=item54059359ce

Smyths also do the Sporter for £54.99

www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/outdoor/scooters/c-657/sporter-scooters/p-1124/sporter-2-pink-scooter/

The one I got off Gumtree was £30 and not a scratch on it, because the little girl who had been given it wasn't an outdoorsy kid, according to her dad :D So if you aren't fussy about second hand, it's worth having a look

ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 20/09/2014 10:11

JerseySpud I wondered when the Elsa Snow Glow would make an appearance! DD is desperate for one, and apparently it's going to be one of the biggest toys this year. They were £33 on Amazon a few days ago, and I bought the last one in stock because I'd heard that when they came back in stock, they would be going up a LOT.

JerseySpud · 20/09/2014 10:19

I just bought one for £23 off there (We get VAT removed) because DD2 loves Frozen. Also told all my friends as, like you say, its supposed to be one of the biggest toys this year. But They are price matching and undercutting as its £34 in Smyths atm

OP posts:
ValerieTheVodkaFairy · 20/09/2014 10:29

Weep. A tenner less!

Ah well. At least I'll have Elsa safely stashed in the cupboard when everyone else is running madly round the shops trying to find one.Grin

They must have used some sort of Frozen mind control to get kids to want this toy, I had never heard of it until a few weeks ago- haven't seen an advert or anything- and all of a sudden DD and all her friends are raving on about Snow Glow Elsa and the light up Elsa castle thing (the castle has crap reviews so DD isn't getting it!Grin)
