My son loves those norks he's got six so far so hoping to get a few more for christmas, the argos 3for2 would be handy but you cant see which characters they have in stock! So annoying!

Re: the daily mail free lego, do i have to take each voucher to a shop each say to claim? Or can i collect all 7 and then get them? Ive never done it before!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 19/09/2014 19:40

What are marvel mashers? I have marvel fans but have not heard of these

NorksEnormous · 19/09/2014 19:44

I got the big set today in smyths. Was £25 with 20% off and has Spider-Man and doc octopus in it, but would like a few others to go with them. They are so expensive! Good to know they are in the 2 for £15 in argos though, although will work out even cheaper if I hold off for the 3 for 2!

Did anyone else go to smyths today? Mine was absolutely packed and shelves were empty! People were running round with trolley loads like it was the week before Christmas Grin

I found even with the 20% discount a lot of the toys were still cheaper on amazon or elsewhere. However I did manage to get this horse for dd which she has been eyeing up for ages! our generation 20 inch horse

If anyone is looking for Cabbage Patch dolls they had some lovely ones in Costco, under £20 even with the vat added, all dressed up and sparkly like --not that I desperately coveted one when I was a child oh no--

That Elsa doll linked to on page 30 is back up to well over £25, if anyone scored one at £13 they got a real bargain by all accounts!

KittyMouseRocks · 19/09/2014 20:00

Chocolateteabag · 19/09/2014 20:02

Mipe · 19/09/2014 20:07

The Works have 20% off and free delivery again with code freedel20 (until Sunday), I have just ordered this game Shut the Box for £4 and this book Jessi-Cat for £2.40 :).

Mipe · 19/09/2014 20:13

Argos have these Mini Lalaloopsy Silly Singers for £3.49 :).

queststarz · 19/09/2014 20:29

Re Lego - to claim in wh smiths you have to go every day though normally they'll let you buy 2 papers n get 2 bags (eg if u have 2 kids)
You may be able to collect all 7 and send off and pay postage but never done that before.

lucysmam · 19/09/2014 20:45

If anyone sees any deals/bargains on this lego friend's set could they please post here? DD1 keeps mentioning it & there's no way we can afford it at that price...half price would be do-able at a push!

Mipe · 19/09/2014 20:56

Lucysmam it is £65 at Smyths and this weekend they have 20% off lego in store so you could get it for £52 - still a lot of money but the cheapest I have seen it x

GerrardWinstanley · 19/09/2014 21:17

KittyMouseRocks · 19/09/2014 21:46

I'm on my way there next week! It's wrong that I'm so excited about this admiral!!!

Iggi999 · 19/09/2014 21:50

Making a rare trip to Ikea tomorrow. Is there anything special I should be picking up? Candles? Goat?

lucysmam · 19/09/2014 21:55

Thanks Mipe, will look up my closest Smyth's & see if my dad can lend me the money for a week or two. If not, I'll keep hunting...must write myself a note just in case!

FernArable · 19/09/2014 21:55

Playmobil small school £60

School

Apparently it's normally £135. But I'm not sure because Amazon's Playmobil seems to be overpriced unless it's on offer.

Notso · 19/09/2014 22:26

Neep plush from Abney and Teal is £3 on Amazon as a nice little add on item. DS3 loves Neeeeeep so will be pleased Smile

admiralclingus · 19/09/2014 22:30

kitty please stop in at boots and share your bargains with meeee! I was excited to go in! Our Christmas lines go live on Tuesday so a perfect excuse Wink

RiverRocks · 19/09/2014 22:56

Thanks for the dotcom link Valerie, ordered DSis some spoons from a really early thread, so those mugs will go great. I also ordered some Christmas decorations for me Blush

daddykyller · 19/09/2014 23:14

Spotted a good saving on some lego on amazon:
LEGO Technic 42028 Bulldozer
£25.00 with free delivery - 29% off

daddykyller · 19/09/2014 23:33

Another one from amazon- Thought this could also make a good (small) pirate treasure chest:
Embossed Wooden Jewellery Box

Just £2.08 and delivery is free
There are a few box styles there, but slightly different prices. This one was the cheapest.

Gooseysgirl · 20/09/2014 05:56

PMSL!!! Someone on another Christmas thread is in search of a Boris Johnson onesie for her teenage son (I'm in the midst of house move hell and that is the best laugh I've fad all week)

Reastie · 20/09/2014 07:02

does that even exist goosey ?! The mind boggles...
