Not mega bargainous but seriously cute Frozen finger puppets £5.62 without box and £7.49 with.

QuicheMama · 18/09/2014 07:28

Would an AliExpress thread be an option? Alongside this one.

Reastie · 18/09/2014 07:37

Re: aliexpress, I'm happy whatever but if it's bothering people, there seem to be alot of posts discussing frozen costumes/dolls from aliexpress and asking for links/which one people have bought. because I'm lazy if you have received one could you just message or put on here the link of which exact one you got I know you may have done it already and any comments about what it's like/if you're pleased with it/how long it took to arrive and then I'll add it to the OP. Would that work?

lucysmam · 18/09/2014 07:57

MsAsprey, thank you for the WillAid link. After the pickle we're in because my FIL didn't leave one, me and dp are going to have them written asap. Much appreciated Smile

TrisisFour · 18/09/2014 08:04

Hmmm bizarrely I went to post my link for the Anna dress that we got from ebay, which actually is really lovely, but ebay have said that the link is no longer available and if we haven't received the item, to start a case.

I'm guessing the seller has done something naughty... Luckily, as I said I did receive mine and it was lovely! Confused

KnackeredMuchly · 18/09/2014 08:30

clr2014 · 18/09/2014 09:10

There's an aliexpress thread already which it would be good to have all the recommended links on...

A wee note for last years bargain hunters- yesterday I finally wore my new joules wellies from the country living subscription!! I cancelled after trial much to their annoyance and insisting I couldn't; and had put wellies in loft in case they called for their return! They are loverly!!

SisterMoonshine · 18/09/2014 09:24

I ordered Tolkiens 'Letters from Father Christmas' after reading about it on another thread.
It's £9.09, down from £12.99 on Amazon.

Looks lovely. And I bought it for myself really, DD1 still believes.
Although if she asks outright this year I may let her in on it (she's 10).

TheNightIsDark · 18/09/2014 09:38

Does anyone have any book people codes please? I have my eye on the Michael Morpurgo collection but I don't want to pay £25 for it!

NorbertDentressangle · 18/09/2014 09:54

The new David Walliams children's book "Awful Auntie" is available on pre-order for £5 for the hardback from Asda Direct and Amazon.

NorbertDentressangle · 18/09/2014 10:00

PS - meant to add that its free P&P with Asda

IAmAPaleontologist · 18/09/2014 10:24

TheNightIsDark there is 9% cashback for TheBookPeople through Quidco if that helps?

After my lovely Octonauts laden shopping the other week I have just ordered a pile of books for the children. Started off by looking for that Maps book everyone was raving about a while back as ds1 would love it but couldn't find it cheap. Oh well. HAve got each child a nice little stash of books. Should probably decide with dh what we are getting them as a main present this year and then wait for their Father Christmas lists before I shop more for them really. I pretty much have everything I think dd will want from Father Christmas on a wish list ready to buy but ds1 is always more tricky. He will ask for a DS and that's about it and he ain't getting one Grin.

Lamaze Snail Activity Playmat down to £7.50 from £18

bookcave · 18/09/2014 10:38

My local Sainsbury had Anna and Elsa dresses back in stock this morning - first time I've ever seen them there. The Anna had a lovely hooded velvet cape and the Elsa came with an Elsa wig.
