I've got my mum and her partner and my dad and his wife. Last year I made them a stocking each, based on the "something to eat, something to read etc" and was thinking of BIG version of the "pot of gold" but can't think of enough gold things for the men!

I'd like the presents to have more than one aspect, was thinking hamper but can't decide on a theme.

Don't mind putting in some work/research/making things.

Thanks :-)

Every year we team up with my Dsis and Dbil and split for a weekend away and theatre tickets. We just change the destination and show. Hardly original.

We're getting my parents cinema vouchers, they love going but hate paying the prices. Will wrap them up with popcorn and sweets.

I also buy them a nice Christmas decoration each year, this year they have a set of Spode holly decorated ceramic handled teaspoons - my mum will like getting them out for the visitors Grin.

Betty, what about a hanging strawberry container, so she didn't need to bend down? Like this for example

I have copied the Poppy idea - how lovely! No idea yet other than that but am now thinking tickets to the Tower of London and a night in a hotel would go down very well….
