Downloaded no more socks app early August and have ended up buying almost all of my gifts apart from my DS who I will buy for nearer to Nov/December. The majority of the gifts have been bought by sourcing discount codes etc which has saved me quite a bit.

For instances I've bought my MIL and 2X SIL Benefit kits from Look Fantastic and used a 20% off discount code voucher on them saving almost £20.00. also if you spend over £55 you get a free benefit mini kit worth £20.50 for free so that's another potential gift!

Other codes have included 10% for ASOS and Amazon. I think I've saved well over £100 on everything.

Another problem I have is if I buy something in the sale I think "oh I should make it up to £xx.xx even though the original item is probably double the cost if you know what I mean?

I bought my niece a USB speaker for £15.00 and it retails £25-£30 and my budget for her is £25-£30 so technically I should be done right? Lol

I'd love to come under my budget of £600 which includes all family, DS and DH

If you've bought something that the recipient will like and you got a bargain then you would have been daft to resist. My ils won't write their lists just yet so I am hanging on for them, but I am determined to be done by the end of Nov. I want a chrismassy December with no shopping! Well done you!
