As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

Ahem, I can’t actually remember if I updated the links from 2 threads ago. I think I have, but I’m not sure. If you spot any links that don’t work and you’ve already told me please tell me again in bold Thanks and sorry.

I ordered 2 Tassimos at 11pm last night to two different addresses using the same card. So far, I haven't received a confirmation text yet and I also need to check my emails.

Did someone mention upthread that the Lidl/Aldi pods fit the Tassimo machine?

acsec · 30/08/2014 12:07

MsAspreyDiamonds Lidl do pods which fit Nespresso machines, I don't know about Tassimo but I am probably heading there in a bit so I will pop in and have a look for you.

My Pact coffee came - good for £1 but I've cancelled my subscription as it's usually £6.95 a fortnight.

Think I will order some Frozen bits for my DNiece from the Internet Gift Store sale.

acsec · 30/08/2014 12:14

There's actually loads of good stuff in the Internet Gift Store clearance section and it's free delivery till end of August - quick, go shop!

lucysmam · 30/08/2014 12:30

I'll have a look at the Maxi-scooters and JDBug ones, thanks. I hadn't thought about the Micro being outgrown tbh so will get two bigger ones for the girls (who knew scooter shopping could be so confuzzling!? Confused )

I'm a bit Hmm at the price of scooters...seems a tad excessive...so I'll set his mum on checking Freecycle and start checking Gumtree/Fb selling pages myself.

freedom2post · 30/08/2014 13:05

We are on the first day of my holiday (feels so wrong to be looking at a Christmas thread on holiday!) I also caved and gave dd's their Elsa and Anna dolls before we left.

They were so happy and haven't put them down since!

So thanks again KEGIRL Thanks Thanks

Will take a look at that seller of the Anna dresses when we are home Thanks Thanks

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 30/08/2014 13:19

I need to renew some insurance and know DD really wants a Baby Meerkat, so that's another present sorted.
:)

Boots have the Merida from brave my first princess doll, half price...I bought it for a friends dd and it's gorgeous! I'm thrilled with it for that price!

WeHateAmy · 30/08/2014 14:33

Some of my Amazon things have arrived from China.

First is the birdhouse keyring thing, which is a white plastic woodgrain effect birdhouse that you hang on the wall. Inside are two bird shaped key rings that double as whistles. You sit the birds in the birdhouse so you know where your keys are.

I ordered white green and as you can see, I received red green. Not bad quality but…mmm…I don't know. Birdhouse looks quite nice, birds slightly less so close up, whistle was on the quiet side but will look cute on the wall. Comes in a nice box. There are more expensive ones out there if you are that worried about the look of the thing, but up on the wall I think it will look good so I'm pleased with it.

I ordered it as part of a gift for our friends and I think they will like it. Can of coke in the picture is for scale only, not part of the gift Grin Some of the amazon reviews have said it is smaller than they expected so this photo will give you a better idea.

ShowMeShowMeTheWine · 30/08/2014 14:40

Can you use the entertainer 5% code AND tcb?
We don't have a store nearby and I'm not sure I can being myself to pay p&p!

WeHateAmy · 30/08/2014 14:41

Second parcel contained my heart shaped pendents and these were 45p each.

For 45p, nobody is going to think they were expensive, but they are alright. They surprised me by coming with a velvety gift bag. Heart charm looks slightly better than the chain, but I was thinking of taking the charms off and putting them on a leather thong style bracelet anyway so that might actually work for me.

It also contained these dinosaur eggs which are six for 80p. You put them in water and they grow and hatch (or hatch and grow) and I'm going to put them in various drawers of the advent calendar. One of our eggs was broken when I opened the parcel, but the dinosaur should still work in water.

Annetter · 30/08/2014 14:44

Yes showme you can, I did.. all worked. Had to pay p&p as my store doesn't do click and collect annoyingly... But still saved

WeHateAmy · 30/08/2014 14:46

Forgot to say, the dinosaurs come in a plastic bag with no instructions, so if you use them as stocking fillers for anyone else you will need to tell them they go in water.

Somebody on either this thread or the last one was asking about tin tea party sets in baskets.

I saw several sets in B&M Store the other day. The tin ones were in boxes though and the ones in a suitcase style picnic hamper were ceramic. I wasn't sure if either of those might work or if it absolutely has to be tin in a basket or suitcase.

The tin ones had four different patterns, the ceramic ones had only one pattern, but I took a quick picture to try and give you an idea. I was standing right by the cans of Martin Platt's Scouse at the time so I felt quite nostalgic for his sauce launching threads Grin

Annetter · 30/08/2014 14:47

Just seems bad luck to leave Xmas thread at post 666

So here's another one - entertainer

£6.99 for a microphone paper jamz that was £34.99

iloveholidays · 30/08/2014 14:49

Are there any discount codes for boden around please? desperate to buy a coat for DD but can't justify the cost :)

EvilHerbivore · 30/08/2014 15:23

Debenhams has cancelled my order but still took the money, DS2 has a cold so is all whingy and grotty, DS1 didn't get any sleep as DS2 kept waking up last night so is being all dramatic and weepy and DP threw out the wine as there wasn't room in the fridge with all the milk we have to buy as the kids drink gallons...bargain hunting is the only thing keeping me sane ATM!

lucysmam · 30/08/2014 15:47

Does anyone's dc have one of these very bella shaky shake nails sets ?

Dd1 keeps pestering for it but I have a feeling it may be used once & never again so thought someone here might be able to tell me if they have one, if it's ever used Smile

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 30/08/2014 16:04

Looks good Lucysmam but Amazon are doing themselves for £14.99 with free postage on the right hand side, so an even better deal.

lucysmam · 30/08/2014 16:07

ooh, I didn't even look, just wondered if anyone had one iyswim! I'll load the page back up again & go for the cheaper one Grin

Feartheescalator · 30/08/2014 16:23

If anyone is near Kingston, the Bentalls clearance shop has lalaloopsies, baby borns, moxie girls and lots of other toys and books at 50% off plus Sylvanian houses, families and furniture at 40% off. They also have Cath Kidston towels, children's bathrobes (super cute) and bedding at 50-60% off.

WheresTheCoffee · 30/08/2014 16:32

I'm hovering in Tassimo indecision....I just know that DP Me really would love one Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/08/2014 16:35

You'll kick yourself if they sell out.

I really ought to buy shares in tassimo....
